Our MissionThe Bethlehem’s Singles’ Ministry exists to meet the needs of single adults ages 19 and over within our church and community who

have never been married, who are divorced, who are parents, and who are widows/widowers. We will provide opportunities for spiritual growth, healing, and social fellowship for those individuals and their families.

“But I would have you without carefulness. He that is unmarried careth for the things that belong to the Lord, how he may please the Lord: But he that is married careth for the things that are of the world, how he may please his wife. There is difference also between a wife and a virgin. The unmarried woman careth for the things of the Lord, that she maybe holy both

in spirit: but she that is married careth for the things of this world, how she may please her husband.” I Corinthians 7:32-34

Palm Sunday & What is the significance of the Palm?The symbolism of the Palm Branches that the crowd placed on the road as Jesus entered into Jerusalem.

We distribute palm branches to our worshipers on Palm Sunday, which is the sixth Sunday of Lent and last Sunday before Easter. On Palm Sunday we remember Christ’s sacrificial death on the cross, praise him for

the gift of salvation and look expectantly to his second coming.

Customary Palm Sunday observances include the waving of palm branches in processional, the blessing of palms, and the making of small crosses with palm fronds.

Palm Sunday also marks the beginning of Holy Week, a solemn week focusing on the final days of Jesus’ life. Holy Week culminates on Easter Sunday, the most important holiday in Christianity.
