• Bette was born on March 23, 1924.

• Bette was born in Dallas Texas.

• She was raised in San Antonio, Texas.

• Bette dropped out of high school at the age of 17.

• She married and moved back to Dallas

• Bette had one child named Michael Nesmith.

• Bette became the famous mother of her musician son Michael, who played with the band “The Monkeys”.

• Bette invented liquid paper in 1956.

• She called it Mistake out

• Bette’s started a company and it grew to a million dollar business.

• By 1979 Bette was selling around 25 million bottles a year.
