• Bette had one child named Michael Nesmith.
• Bette became the famous mother of her musician son Michael, who played with the band “The Monkeys”.
ABOUT BETTE'S JOB
• Bette was good at her work and Bette rose through the ranks at Texas bank and trust anile became executive security to the chairman of the board by 1951.
• She typed a lot and made mistakes.
• She made a white paint that would cover her mistakes.
WHAT BETTE INVENTED
• Bette invented liquid paper in 1956.
• She called it Mistake out
• Bette’s started a company and it grew to a million dollar business.
• By 1979 Bette was selling around 25 million bottles a year.

• In 1975 Bette moved operations to a three thousand five hundred- sq. ft metal shed in her backyard.
