Style and function in perfect synergy

Great functionality does not mean we compromised on style. The Jazz’s eye-catching, contemporary styling ensures strong visual appeal, a linear and aggressive look, steeply raked windscreen and sculpted flanks come together to form a streamlined profile.

The new Jazz’s assertive style is complemented by short overhangs, a tapering roofline and wheel arches. Carefully considered design elements contribute to an overall impression of dynamic poise and capability.

On the practical side of things, the all-new body and chassis link reduced mass to increased rigidity. The new chassis accommodates a longer wheelbase, which benefits ride quality, directional stability and handling. We have updated the bumper design and added newly developed low rolling resistance tyres to reduce air resistance and improve fuel economy.We also added a chrome grille and rear combination light with a red LED lens to accentuate the curved exterior and keep you highly visible at all times.

When you drive the Jazz there’s a lot more to see: a specially designed windscreen increases all-round vision and slim pillars allow light to flow through the cabin.

Chrome detailing and coloured lighting illuminate audio features, meters and switches creating a carefully integrated interior. With everything at your fingertips, you can concentrate fully on the road ahead. A 7-inch touch screen display audio gives you access to your phone contacts, video1 and music while the Multi-Information Display allows you to monitor the length of your journey and your fuel consumption. Change the way you think about small cars. The Jazz is made to adapt to any of your needs. Honda’s Magic Seats deliver a unique level of flexibility. You’ll quickly come to find that fitting items into your car is simple – no matter the occasion.

The Jazz is characterised by an interior that can be transformed with either a push of a button or the lift of a lever. The rear seats lift up, fold over and lock down with one easy movement and the 60/40 split folding design creates numerous amounts of perfect configurations for your ever-changing requirements.

In addition to the versatility offered by Magic Seats, the larger cabin offers class-leading interior space, with the significantly enhanced rear legroom allowing the Jazz to comfortably accommodate three rear occupants.

Anything’s possible

The versatility of our Magic Seats knows no bounds. With four configurations, you can pack just about anything into the Jazz:

Refresh Mode*

Enjoy the view by removing the head restraints and folding back the seats.

Tall Mode

Fold up the rear seats to gain some extra storage height.

Utility Mode

Need to take your gear with you for an outdoor excursion? Just fold down the rear seats and you are good to go.

Long Mode

Fold down all the seats on the left- or right-hand side of the car and you will have plenty of room for those long items.

Engineered for your safety

Safety is top priority when designing our cars and the Jazz is no exception. You can rely on the features that have been rigorously tested to ensure you and your passengers travel safely.

The protection of passengers and pedestrians is paramount in the engineering of the body structure, technology systems and interior features. The Jazz’s new construction incorporates Honda’s latest generation Advanced Compatibility Engineering (ACE) front body structure, which has been designed to meet and exceed the most stringent crash safety standards, offering enhanced passenger protection in the case of a collision. Extensive active and passive safety features include six airbags across the range.

The Jazz also comes with Anti-lock Braking System (ABS) brakes and Electronic Brake-force Distribution (EBD). Emergency Brake Assist (EBA) boosts braking power in an emergency, while Vehicle Stability Assist (VSA) calculates the amount of power, brake-force and tyre grip needed to prevent skidding, giving you maximum control. The Jazz also comes with Hill Start Assist (HSA), holding the brakes for you during a hill start and making sure you get away without any problems.

Emergency Stop Signal automatically controls the hazard lights in the event of hard braking to reduce the chance of a rear-end collision. The high-mounted brakelight also improves visibility.

This innovative body structure is engineered to absorb and deflect the force of a frontal collision away from the passenger compartment, improving the safety of every occupant.

ADVANCED COMPATIBILITY ENGINEERING (ACE)

HILL START ASSIST (HSA)

Hill Start Assist prevents 'rolling back' when starting on an incline. The system controls brake pressure, keeping the car stationary as you release the brake pedal and prepare to accelerate.

The moment you're involved in a collision, the same sensors that deploy the Jazz's airbags automatically retract the front seatbelt. You and your passenger are instantly pressed back safely into your seats.

AUTOMATIC TENSIONING SEATBELTS

The rear parking sensors trigger a sound that lets the driver know as soon as a car or object is getting close.

REAR PARKING SENSORS

FOG LIGHTS

For safer driving in foggy weather conditions.

This technology helps keep the Jazz on course in adverse driving conditions by detecting, then mitigating, potential understeer or oversteer. When necessary, VSA automatically reduces engine power and manages brake pressure to individual wheels to help regain control.

VEHICLE STABILITY ASSIST (VSA)

ABS provides superior stopping power. When emergency braking is detected, Brake Assist applies maximum braking pressure whilst EBD monitors and adjusts the brake force applied to each wheel for greater control and stability.

ANTI-LOCK BRAKING SYSTEM (ABS) AND ELECTRONIC BRAKE-FORCE DISTRIBUTION (EBD)

AIRBAGS

The Honda SRS driver airbag system inflates at different rates depending on crash severity, seatbelt usage and a host of other factors. Dual front, side and curtain airbags are standard.

In the event of a collision, the seatback springs are optimised so that the seat will more equally absorb the occupant's impact, in a manner that can minimise the severity of whiplash injury.
