BEUMER has now been actively represented in North America for over 30 years. Attuned to the particular demands of this economic region, our American subsidiary is successfully pos-itioned with its products in the conveying, loading, palletizing, packaging, sorting and distribution technology segments.

South America – dynamic ongoing development.

In the last few years, South America, a continent with numerous sources of valuable raw materials, has

developed to become the third most significant sales market for BEUMER. The main focus is

on conveying and palletizing technology for the cement, lime and gypsum indus-tries as well as for the mining and the chemicals segments. The sorting and distribution segment has also shown a positive development. The focal points here are the employment of sorting sys-tems for courier, express and parcels services and for airport baggage hand-

ling.

Asia – new markets, new opportunities.

The enormous economic growth in Asia and the Far East prompted BEUMER’s decision to open a new

subsidiary in Shanghai in 2005. With its own production facilities and a workforce of 200 employees, the concern once again demonstrates its outstanding expertise and technical know-how when dealing with projects from the chemical indus-try and equipment of airports (e.g. Olympia Airport in Beijing).
