Part 1: Overview of Organization/Program
• Purpose?– Provide connection to strategic plan and
provide overall description of the effort and major activities.
Part 2: Description of Major Activities
• Purpose?– Provide a detailed summary of each major
program or activity to guide decision making about funding and spending.

These can be pulled from a project logic model, if one
exists.
Part 3: Three Year Overall Budget
• Purpose?– Provide a “big picture” view of the financial
situation to help determine needs.

promote better planning.
