Our idea space Beyond Ofis allows the sustainability of our work at Beyond Istanbul. We provide working / desk space for researchers and practitioners based in or temporarily visiting Istanbul. Due to our extensive knowledge on the city and cross-disciplinary approach, Beyond Ofis is an ideal space for architects, planners, designers, researchers, activists, journalists and urban practitioners. All the income from the permanent and temporary members of the space directly goes to our non-profit projects at center for spatial justice Beyond Istanbul.

Beyond Istanbul is a cross-disciplinary, independent, demand-responsive urban institute, focused on issues of spatial justice in Istanbul and beyond. Beyond Istanbul provides theoretic context and deep local knowledge on the historical layers and contemporary transformations of Istanbul. We engage in Hands-On workshops, carry out Research, curate Walks, organise Talks, run a Help Desk, and offer Space to researchers, designers, artists, journalists and city lovers.
