The project was conceptualized to cater to the needs of the project beneficiaries to venture into
livelihood project or to one way or another open an avenue to possibly distribute equally aquamarine
fish products in some municipalities of Maguindanao and North Cotabato provinces especially in
Cotabato City.
Majority of people in these areas are in need of constant supply of fish to satisfy their
consumption. Fish vendors especially those with huge capital are quandary on how to achieve and
maintain supply of fish to sustain their business transaction.
It is common fact that fish has been part of the Filipino basic diets .Millions of mouths have to
feed with this commodity. Hopefully, the project would promote further fishery products hence, the
context of this proposal.

VI. METHODOLOGY OF PROJECT IMPLEMENTATION:
The proposed project is to purchase one (1) unit of VAN (truck) to be used to transport fish and
fishery products to concern marketing areas. Inside the Van is thermostat that would provide coldness
to the products to preserve its freshness and quality. This includes the procurement of ice boxes (plastic
with Styrofoam) for handling of the products,
This project shall buy fish from General Santos City and other places noted for bulky supply of
fish. More or less 4,000 meters ton of fish shall be carried by the Van for selling to the prescribed
marketing outlets primarily in Cotabato City and including in some Municipalities of North Cotabato and
Maguindanao Provinces.
The above premises shall be the targeted trend of transporting the products except for any
changes which would improve the operation of the project.
Marketing Plan
Description of Products or Services
The products for buy and sell mostly Matambaka (tulay),Galunggong and Blue Marline locally
known as (Tulingan) etc. These are offer for sale a little bit cheaper than the market prevailing price with
the assurance of fressness or good quality.
Potencial Market
Supply in two big markets in the city of Cotabato like Mega market and City Arcade cannot coup up with
the numbers of consumers demanding fish. These include many Talipapa in the City, also in nearby
Municipalities like Libungan,Datu Odin Sinsuat, Pigkawayan, Midsayap and others. These are the
potential markets of the products.
Identification of Competitors
Competitors exist here and there; however, too much competition ruins business operation.
Nevertheless, the products of the project are very competitive thereby ensuring the freshness or good
quality and the price is cheaper than the rest.
Marketing Methods
The project shall employ one (1) sales representative to promote the products in all angles. He shall be
meeting all respective vendors especially those buying in volume of course this include retailing.Products will be delivered to all expected buyers. Payment shall be cash to cash basis or done after
delivery. Extension of credit can be done one (1) day to be paid on the second delivery.
Pricing Strategy
In a buy and sell business, prices of products are definitely not stable ,sometimes you will hit jackpot by
procuring commodities at buying price.
