    Principal Training SpecialistUAS Maintenance Instructors: Perform as platform instructors utilizing conference, demonstration, and

    practical exercises to train military personnel in: aviation maintenance fundamentals; basic electronics; andmaintenance and operation of all UAS trained in the UASTB. Performs maintenance on training base UASequipment and training devices. Sets up equipment required for classroom and practical exercise instruction.

    Serves as a Training Facilitator (Instructor/Writer) responsible for instructing military and civilian personnelin the skills necessary to repair and maintain the Shadow (RQ-7B) Unmanned Aircraft System. Instructionalsubjects on the Shadow (RQ-7B) Unmanned Aircraft System include airframe, power plant, avionics,computers, communications, support equipment, and transport, offload, assemble/emplace, prepare foroperations, disassemble/displace and load for transport, crew chief duties, production and quality controloperation. Prepares and presents platform and hands on instruction. Prepares all training materials, such as,

    but not limited to course outlines, manuals, background materials, workbooks, handouts, completioncertificates, course assessment forms, study guides, and training aids. Graded students work in accordancewith Government provided reference, procedures and forms. Inspects and repairs training equipment.Maintains forms and records in paper/electronic log books and historical records in accordance with currentTAMMS/TAMMS-A standards. Shares knowledge and provides guidance, input and feed back to staffpersonnel.
