This issue of GD Foods Expressions is dedicated

in rememberance of Sh. Goverdhan Dass Seth.

Sh. Goverdhan Dass Seth (of Sargodha)(1904-27th Oct 1980)

Mrs. Chand Seth is a post graduate in Economics

from Rohalkhand university. She has played a

major role in the success & development of

G.D. Foods Mfg. (I) Pvt. Ltd. Inspiring and

working shoulder to shoulder with Mr. B.M. Seth

and lending him all the support the company

required.

She worked very hard in developing the recipes

for products like Pickles, Sauces and Jams,

which have been very successful and highly

appreciated by consumers.

Her contribution towards the instant success of newly

developed products in coordination with the Research and

Development team has been tremendous. Mrs. Chand Seth

also initially helped towards managing the finance and accounts of the

company.

As of today she is actively participating and helping Research

and Development department for the development and creation of New

Products.

A perfect wife and an affectionate mother, also a well-wisher to all,

always comes forward to help everyone who required.

The team of “G.D. Foods” sends heartfelt gratitude to the dynamic

woman and salutes her.

It gives me immense pleasure to declare that during

the months of August & Sept., 2009 we have

achieved another landmark in the Growth Path of

G.D. Foods. Though Sales and Marketing

Department are the front movers to achieve the

higher goals, the contribution of all other

Departments (Be it Production, Finance, HRD,

Purchase, R & D and Despatch) and the efforts made

by each of your team members is highly appreciable.

It is really commendable that the team efforts of all

the departments is bringing the unprecedented

growth of G.D. Foods. Dedication, Hard Work, Commitment and Positive

Attitude are the Key words to success. Please convey these sentiments to your

entire team who have made possible this fabulous feat.

We have set higher goals to be achieved in the coming months keeping in

view the winter season ahead. I am sure you along with your team will show the

same zeal and enthusiasm in taking the Company to new Heights.

With the heartiest greetings on “Diwali”, the festival of lights, I wish that

the darkness vanishes from everyone's life and light of positivity glows,

OUR GUIDING SPIRIT LATE SHRI GOVERDHAN DAS SETH

G.D. Foods ows its name to the great visionary and industrialist Sh. G.D. Seth (1904 to 1980 ), born

at Sargodha in Pakistan, he ventured into business at an early age. From manufacturing of soaps

"Two Scissors" to making household utensils, he worked hard to realize his dreams.

After the partition in 1947, he started afresh and worked with Majidhias to revive a sick unit of Oil

Mill. He then moved to Delhi in 1956 due to illness of his wife (Smt. Bhirawan Wali). Passionate to

become an industrialist, he began manufacturing of cycle parts and also established a Saw mill. In

1956 his wife left for heavenly abode, entrusting him with the responsibility of children, mother

and a sister.

Every thought and action of Sh. B.M. Seth, Sh. Mohan Seth and Sh. G.K. Seth (His sons) has been

inspired and guided by the life and actions of this divine soul.

It is through his efforts, value creation and blessings that G.D. Foods is forging ahead. We at G.D.

Foods are committed to achieve his vision.

It is a pleasure to bring the 4th edition of “Expresisons”. The

wind is full with the aroma of the oncoming autumn and the

festivities are everywhere. I wish you and your loved ones a very

happy “Diwali”.

The past 3 editions have had an overwhelming response and my

moment of pleasure is when people around the office ask me

when the next edition is due. We are learning with every edition,

taking your feedback positively and trying to build into our

construct of the newsletter you have fondly started to remember.

In this edition, we have tried to emphasize the importance of

attitude more so the “Right Attitude”. Looking at your problems

and always concentrating on them will not change anything.

Being positive and relentlessly driving towards your goal is bound

to bring benefits. I wish you a positive attitude.

ON PEOPLE'S FRONTDear Friends,

Clearly defined, Attitude is a person's perspective toward a

specified target.

It brings a smile to my face when I say that we have broken all our

sales records in the last three months. CONGRATULATIONS!! To

all of us. While we were able to achieve this success with our

Intelligence, Talent and Skills, its important to realize that it

would have all been a waste if we all didn't have the right attitude

in our minds.

Going back to the meaning of attitude which talks about our

individual feeling / perspective towards the set targets, in many

people its found that they feel much of it is negative. Thoughts

like “I could never do that” and “what if I fail” can seriously

impact our working and behavior. So it is important to have a

positive attitude and put all our efforts to achieve our set targets.

Good luck for the next six months i.e. Oct, 09 to March,10 and let

us dedicate ourselves to achieving higher goals. All the Best.

Hello Friends,I always feel privileged to address you through “Expressions”.

The Universe also communicates through expressions of

various seasons.

The forthcoming season of winter expresses its beauty

through beautiful blossomed flowers. It is also a healthy

season for “Tops” products as almost everyone loves to eat

more in winter after the hot sticky summer.

The positive frame of mind is expressed through hope,

strength, hard work, determined behavior and encouraging

attitude. On the other hand a negative frame might just kill

the strength and determination of self and others.

Our thought process or the attitude therefore is extremely

important and determines the destiny of a person.

Positive attitude takes to high altitude. The company is

growing on a faster pace, thanks to the right attitude of all

With the new processing techniques and

working systems suggested by Mr. S.K.

Gautam, the present production of the pickles

has been increased more than 1-1/2 times as

compared to previous production. For

achieving this milestone the active cooperation

and enthusiasm shown by Mr. B.S. Gahlot and Mr. S.K.

Rathi is highly appreciable. The management believes that

they will strive hard in achieving the higher production

goals in future.

NEW MILESTONE IN PRODUCTION

A high level of work together culture at Neemrana Plant

contributed towards achieving highest production in the

month of September and October, 2009.

It happened due to the team work and cooperation of our

production, filling and packaging, stores & technical

divisions jointly. This dynamic way of working shows the

kind of potential they all possess. Heartiest felicitations to
