Oracle Data Integrator Enterprise Edition delivers unique next-generation Extract Load and Transform (E-LT) technology that improves performance, reduces data integration costs, even across heterogeneous systems. Oracle Data Integrator offers the productivity of a declarative design approach, as well as the benefits of an active integration platform for seamless batch and real-time integration. In addition, Knowledge Modules provide modularity, flexibility, and extensibility.

Oracle Data Integrator Enterprise Edition is optimized for Oracle Database to provide real-time data warehousing with advanced ETL/ELT and data modeling. Oracle Data Integration Enterprise Edition, a foundational component to the Oracle Data Integration Suite is Oracle Fusion Middleware's strategic data integration offering; which has emerged from combining the best of both Oracle Data Integrator (ODI) and Oracle Warehouse Builder (OWB) into a single unified product offering

ODI is SimplerSpeed Project Delivery and Time to Value with ODI

Copyright 2013, Oracle and/or its affiliates. All rights reserved.#We believe ODI is the easiest to use ETL tool on the planet.

ODI enables ETL developers to be much more efficient in their ETL projects. Because ODI uses set-based SQL (for the performance benefits), the mapping and transformation design can be defined more declaratively than conventional ETL tools that use procedural transformation logic after all, SQL itself is the quintessential declarative programming language.

But beyond the theory for why it works, ODI is just easier to do development with. Oracle customers, industry analysts and independent reviews of ODI all confirm that it is very easy to get started with even the most complicated data warehouse ETL jobs.

Likewise, ODI gives the simplest production deployment architecture of any ETL tool.

Since ODI doesnt require dedicated servers or complex architectures for scaling out, ODI can give the highest performance with the smallest footprint in the datacenter. In Oracles own replacement of Informatica in the Oracle Business Intelligence Analytic Applications, we have reduced the setup steps and deployment complexity by 50% These savings are passed directly to Oracle customers, and any ODI customer can experience the same results compared to conventional ETL tools like Informatica or IBM DataStage.BI Apps DW ETL Architecture + SDS
