The Concern….

• Our leaders of Lutheran Church Canada are observing the Bible is not used on a day-to-day basis

• Why the concern:

• Without deeper Biblical knowledge it becomes difficult to respond to our relation with social culture

• Without deeper Biblical knowledge we lose the comfort it brings us

• Without deeper Biblical knowledge we lose the shape/mind of Christ

Discipleship Task ForceWHAT is the work:

1. Identify methods to increase Bible literacy and Christian discipleship.

2. Generate and/or identify materials to promote Bible literacy and Christian discipleship.

3. Recommend means and methods for placing the materials into the hands of LCC pastors and congregational members
