Bibliography of the Ommastrephid Squid Genus I/lex
Norval Balch Aquatron Laboratory, Institute of OCeanography, Dalhousie University
Halifax, Nova Scotia, Canada B3H 4J1
Introduction
This bibliography was initiated during a workshop on the squid II/ex illecebrosus, which was held at Dalhousie University, Halifax, Nova Scotia, in May 1978, with the intention that it be augmented periodically, It was updated for distribution at the NAFO Special Session on Squ ids, which was held at the Bedford Institute of Oceanography, Dartmouth, Nova Scotia, in September 1984, and additional references were added up to the time of its preparation for publication in
Novem ber 1985.
The author would appreciate receiving from users of this bibliography notice of corrections as well as any //lex references that may have been inadvertently omitted during the preparation of the present list. Also, the author would welcome reprints of new papers on II/ex so that the computer file of the bibliography can be kept up to date.
