What is a bibliography?

• A bibliography is a list of books and articles about a particular subject that you have used a sources for your report.

Why do I need a bibliography?

• The bibliography tells where you got the information for your report.

• It can help you if you need to

check the information you

used for your report.

• It can help someone else who would like to read further about your topic.

What information do I need in my bibliography?

You need to include this information:

•Author (Last name first)•Title of the book (underlined)•Places of publication•Publisher•Date of publication

Important Things to Remember

• Entries should be listed in alphabetical order.
