Thank you for taking an interestin the Bicom bioresonancemethod. First of all, I would liketo give you an insight into theRegumed story.

In 1976 I founded BrügemannGmbH. After collaborating withDr. Morell, the spiritual father ofthis new therapy, in 1987 theBicom device was created. Icoined the phrase “bioresonancetherapy” to describe this type oftherapy.

I myself was surprised by theextent and speed of our expan-sion in the following years. Andthis despite the fact that bioreso-nance therapy comes under thefield of empirical healing and isstill thought of as being outsidethe mainstream.

At the start of 1996 the companywas renamed REGUMED GmbH.

My main aim was and still is tohelp doctors and non-medicalpractitioners in alleviating andhealing illness without damagingside effects.

In 1981 I founded what is knowntoday as the Regumed Institut fürRegulative Medizin [RegumedInstitute for Regulative Medicine]to ensure that our therapistsreceive proper training. TheInstitute holds around 40 semi-nars each year, offering differentlevels of training.

We are able to draw on over 25years of experience in bioreso-nance therapy and, in addition tothe quantum and biophysicalaspects, this forms the basis ofour training. These experienceshave also been used to furtherdevelop the Bicom device andtherefore our users today have attheir disposal a practical, very

user-friendly and reliable device:the BICOM 2000.

From blood-letting to genetechnology

Over time medicine has becomeincreasingly more specialised. Themedicine of the early Middle Ageswas based mainly on vague ideasand suppositions drawn from ear-lier history. Gradually researchwas carried out into the innerworkings of the human body, i.e.its organs, their structure andfunction, blood circulation, thecomponents of blood, cells, DNAand genes as well as bacteria,viruses etc.

Sharing of information

Once research began to be car-ried out on DNA and genes, itwas clear that medicine had nowentered an area in which “infor-mation” plays a central role. For,as we know, DNA is the carrier ofhereditary information.

If we then focus on this informa-tion, this gives rise to the questionof what exactly is information?

The medicine of the futurewill be different

If the substance is merely acarrier of information, how is theinformation transmitted?

DNA as an informationcarrier

Firstly we need to take anotherlook at the substance. First of all,DNA is a very large molecule. (Amolecule is a particle which con-sists of at least two atoms joinedtogether). With the way nowpaved for medicine to specialise

even further we eventually arriveat what is in chemical terms thesmallest unit of matter: the atom.

The atom – final phase inmedical research?

It could now be said that this isthe final phase in medical rese-arch and medical possibilities. Yetthis cannot be true since, despitemolecular biology, we are still along way off developing realsolutions, especially for chronicdisorders.

Quantum physics

Therefore it is only logical andconsistent to go beyond the levelof substance and chemistry and

introduce quantum physics intomedicine.

Quantum physics deals with theproperties of sub-atomic particles(elementary particles). This iswhere we come to the mostimportant finding in quantumphysics: There are two aspects tomatter: firstly as a particle andsecondly as radiation (Louis-Victor Broglie, Nobel PhysicsLaureate 1929).This means that for every particleof matter there is also an electro-magnetic field and therefore alsofor every cell, every organ andevery pathogen etc.

Photons

Photons are “building blocks” ofelectromagnetic radiation.

Photons are particles of light(light quanta) which travel at thespeed of light.

Cell communication

Further research now leads usinto an extremely interesting andexciting area which has a decisiveinfluence on living organisms: thearea of biophotons.

Intensive research has been car-ried out in this area over the past20 years at international level incollaboration with the Germanbiophysicist Professor Fritz AlbertPopp.

It has been shown that cellsradiate photons and well-knownbiophysicists believe that cellscommunicate with each otherby means of “flashes of light”.Information is in effect beingshared at the speed of light.

Findings in the field of bio-photon research suggest thatDNA functions as both transmit-ter and receiver.

The biophysical level takes pre-cedence over the biochemicallevel. It controls it and determi-nes the structure of matter andtherefore also the structure ofour organs.

The Nobel prize winner CarloRubia (Nobel prize 1984), DirectorGeneral of the Nuclear ResearchCentre (CERN) in Geneva, expres-sed this very clearly: “We usuallyonly consider matter because wecan see and touch it. Much moreimportant, however, are the inter-acting quanta which hold the

matter together and determine itsstructure.” This also covers quan-tum electrodynamics which in-cludes processes in high energyphysics such as the generation ofparticles through an electromag-netic field (Nobel prize in physics,1965, R.P. Feynman, J. Schwinger,S. Tomonaga).

The interacting quanta referred toby Professor Carlo Rubia open upto us a completely new world inunderstanding the control mecha-nisms in a living organism.

In the treatment of acute disor-ders and in surgery conventionalmedicine has achieved greatthings.

The treatment of chronic disordersis often more complex, however,and many patients feel dissatisfiedwith it. This is therefore an areawhich requires urgent action.

Today we live in an affluent so-ciety. A whole range of technicalappliances, unbelievably quickmeans of transport and commu-nication, countless chemical sub-stances and any number of readymeals make our everyday livesthat much easier. As much as weenjoy all this, more and more ofus are now paying a considerableprice for it.

Background to chronicdisorders

A number of stresses affect peo-ple today: chemical additives inour food and drinking water,environmental toxins, radiationstresses, countless chemical sub-stances, the use of medicines inlivestock breeding etc.

These stresses can become all toomuch for some patients. We seethe result in the form of non-spe-cific disturbances to wellbeing,chronic fatigue or even seriousphysical disturbances.

It is interesting that chronic disor-ders are often based on a num-ber of stresses. Therefore it ispossible that in patients with thesame clinical picture, there areoften completely different under-lying causes. The biophysical leveloffers the possibility of testingthese individual stresses, which is

not often possible at biochemicallevel (laboratory parameters).

The Bicom device (1) makes itextremely simple to get to gripswith bioresonance therapy. Over340 stored therapy programs con-tain over 25 years’ worth of bio-resonance experience.

In the very clearly laid out therapyhandbook (2) all of the therapyprograms are listed alphabetically.For each therapy program thepositioning of the electrodes isdescribed in detail. The therapistmerely has to select the corre-sponding therapy program.

After the device has been switch-ed on using the „ON“ button (3)the therapist enters the corre-sponding program number usingthe number keypad (4) and con-firms this by pressing the „E“ but-ton (5). The input electrode (6)and modulation mat (7) areplaced on the patient’s body inaccordance with the instructions inthe computer handbook. By pres-sing the „START“ button (8) andthe „BMF“ button (9) the bioreso-nance therapy begins.

At each stage the next actionrequired is shown in the display(10).

By means of the input electrodethe frequency patterns are takenfrom the patient and transferredthrough a cable to the Bicomdevice. In addition, depending onthe disorder, the patient’s secre-tions or excretions (e.g. blood,saliva, stool etc) may be placed inthe input cup (11) to provideadditional information for therapy.

The BICOM 2000 is fitted with aspecial electronic device whichtransforms the modulated fre-quency patterns from the deviceinto “Bioresonance MagneticFrequency patterns” (BMF) usingthe modulation mat (flat coil). The

modulation mat is placed on thepatient’s body.

The therapy information may alsobe saved to carrier substances. Tothis end the therapist placesBicom oil (for rubbing in) or Bicomminerals (for oral use) in the out-put cup (12) or else places a chip

(13) in the memory device (14).

The chip can be attached to thepart of the body described in thetherapy handbook following the-rapy. In this way therapy can con-tinue between actual sessions.

The Bicom device is not only atherapy device but also a diag-nostic device. Through the

electroacupuncture test section(15) the energetic condition of theindividual meridians can be phy-sically measured using the testinstruments (16). The therapistcan therefore obtain informationabout disturbed organ functions.

Furthermore, stresses such asallergens, toxins, stress-inducingdental materials etc. can betested quickly and painlessly. Thetherapist places original substan-ces or test ampoules (17) in theinput cup and tests with thecorresponding test programstored in the Bicom whether thesubstance in question is stress-inducing for the patient.

The printer (18) is used to printout the tested values and admin-istered therapy programs. Thishelps keep patient records up todate.

The Bicom device also containsan analogue potentiation pro-gram via which analogue poten-cies for any substance can betested and applied in therapy.Every homeopath will know howcostly it is to produce a nosodeusing the patient’s own blood, forexample.

In addition, as well as the bio-resonance therapy section, theBICOM 2000 also contains apurely magnetic field therapydevice which works using“Dynamic Multi-Impulse packa-ges” (DMI). Depending on thepatient’s condition you canchoose an amplifying or attenua-ting magnetic field therapy bypressing the button (19).

Bioresonance therapy andmagnetic field therapy can beapplied entirely independentlyof each other. In most cases,however, both forms of therapyare used in combination witheach other. This combinationhas proven to be very successfulin practice.

How does theBICOM® bioresonance method work?The Bicom bioresonance method has been used for more than 25years in human medicine and for more than 10 years in veterinarymedicine. It forms part of the area known as empirical healing, whichalso includes homeopathy, acupuncture and other naturopathicmethods.

Though still disregarded by current conventional medical thought, thefollowing bioresonance therapy hypothesis is confirmed by the latestfindings in biophysics.

We live in an age of communication and information and it is time wefaced up to the fact that the body can only function and regulate itselfbecause communication and therefore an exchange of informationtakes place between the various cells in the body. According tobiophoton research cells communicate with each other by means of„flashes of light“ (photon radiation). They exchange information viacertain frequencies.

In a healthy body this exchangeof information functions unhinde-red. Each cell or part of the bodycan fulfil its function.

In accordance with the findings of quantum physics all particles ofmatter have both wave and particle characteristics. This means thatevery substance and therefore every cell, every part of the body butalso viruses, bacteria, pollen, toxins etc. have an electromagneticradiation. Each substance has a highly specific, typical wavelength orfrequency with an entirely individual characteristic, depending oncomposition. This is also known as a frequency pattern.

Stresses can be determined individually and precisely

Extracellular fluid in the body not only provides the means for feedingcells. It also acts as a “hazardous waste depot” for stress-inducingmaterials if the elimination organs such as the liver/gall bladder,kidney, intestine etc. are overstressed. Since water is an optimummedium for storing information the information from the stress-inducing substances is also stored here. This area is not easy toaccess using laboratory procedures.

On the biophysical level such stresses can usually be tested very quick-ly and painlessly. This is where the Bicom device can offer valuableassistance. Consequently, it is possible in many cases to discover whichstresses are causing the patient to feel unwell (e.g. bacteria, viruses,electrosmog, dental materials, allergens etc.).

Human studies:

Prospective randomised study totest the success rate of treatingpatients experiencing liver func-tion problems with their ownelectromagnetic fields (Bicom) 28 patients took part in the study.All patients had chronic liver celldamage which had been diag-nosed for at least one year andnone of them had been treatedwith medicines. There were 14patients in the therapy group and14 patients in the control group.The randomisation and creationof the code list was carried out bythe Outpatient clinic for naturo-pathy of the Carstens Foundationat the University of Heidelberg,working group headed by Prof.Dr. med. I. Gerhard.Results: GOT values:The average percentage decreasein GOT activity after 12 weekswas 42% in the Bicom groupcompared with a 4% decrease inthe control group.Results: GPT values:The median of the Bicom groupwas in the standard range after12 weeks of treatment. Results of allergy treatment usingBICOM® Bioresonance Therapy

Dr. Peter Schumacher, a paediatrician from Innsbruck, was so fascinated by the results which he achievedusing the Bicom device in his practice that he carried out a study on 200 cases of the most acutely allergicpatients and patients suffering from neurodermatitis.

Case Studiesthe whole year round without anyproblems.

Functional dyspepsia

The Italian patient had sufferedfor around 30 years from functio-nal dyspepsia. His complaints gotworse from year to year. He hadlong since given up his belovedspaghetti, glass of wine and smallgrappa to follow since he couldno longer tolerate them. Sincethen he had hardly been able toeat anything and looked reallygaunt.

Bioenergetic test findings usingthe Bicom device: pronouncedwheat and cow’s milk intoleran-ce. For eight weeks he had thera-py every week using the allergyprograms stored in the device.During this time the patientavoided any products containingwheat and cow’s milk. Fromweek to week he felt better and

following completion of the the-rapy he no longer had any com-plaints.

As a small thank you the patientinvited the therapist for a meal atan Italian restaurant round thecorner.

Rhinitis

Over a period of 6 long years the47-year-old patient could notbreathe in through her nose. Hernasal mucous membranes wereextremely swollen. She could

Hayfever

A female patient began sufferingfrom hayfever in 1996. Her eyesitched, watered and were almostswollen shut. In addition, she wassuffering from breathing difficul-ties. She had blotches on her faceand her whole body itched.Allergists prescribed her with acortisone ointment for her eyesand a cortisone spray for herbronchial tubes. The swellingaround her eyes decreased usingthe cortisone ointment but theywere still reddened and continuedto itch. The cortisone spray provid-ed relief to the bronchial tubesbut caused her to be sick aboutan hour after use. The therapychosen for the patient was mostunsatisfactory and therefore shelooked for alternative options. Thecalcium sprays which use thepatient’s own blood, acupuncture,neural therapy and foot reflexzone massages were also largelyunsuccessful. By mid-March 2001the patient had looked up aBicom therapist. Bioenergetic testfindings: a number of pollen andfood allergies. The pollen allergieswere treated using the Bicomdevice and by the end of April thepollen therapy was completed.

The patient showed no furthersymptoms and experienced herfirst allergy-free summer since1996. Successive treatment thentook place for the remainingallergies. In total she received ele-ven Bicom treatments. Afterwardsshe was able to fulfil a dream –get her own dog. For now shewas able to take him for walks

really only breathe through hermouth. Her nose had been “pier-ced through” again and againand the entrance to her parana-sal sinuses exposed. However,this never had any lasting effect.She heard about bioresonancetherapy and went to a Bicom the-rapist who treated her with thecorresponding therapy programsstored in the Bicom device.During the therapy the patientwas able to breathe in and outagain unhindered through hernose. Four years on she stillshows no sign of the symptomsafter receiving just one Bicomtreatment.

Dental problems

The female patient had her fourfront teeth crowned. Afterwardsthe mucous membranes in hermouth felt furry, the roof of hermouth was extremely sensitive,her teeth were not correctly alig-ned with the roof of her mouthand she had a metallic taste inher mouth. The dentist could offerno advice and even the dentallaboratory could find no explana-tion. The dentist suspected therewas a fungal infection and tooka swab, but the results werenegative. The condition lastedseveral weeks and continuedto worsen.

The patient was treated with theBicom. After the very first treat-ment there was a marked impro-vement in the symptoms. Afterfive days the therapy was re-peated. A few days later all thesymptoms had completely disap-peared.

Neurodermatitis

The female patient, 20 years old,had been suffering from neuro-dermatitis from the age of 9months. Very acute itching.Deterioration over time.Bioenergetic test: wheat allergy,cow’s milk allergy, Candida albi-cans. Candida therapy throughNystatin, diet and Bicom. Allergy

therapy with the aid of the Bicomdevice. After three months thepatient showed no further symp-toms and today, 2 years on, is stillfree from all symptoms.

Mastitis with blocked milkducts and suppuratingnipples

Shortly after the birth of littleLena the problems with breast-feeding began. Breastfeedingbecame more and more painfulfor the young mother and shewas only able to feed her childthrough gritted teeth and withtears in her eyes. The midwifesaid that this was normal in thesettling in phase. At this point thenipples were very inflamed and

began to discharge pus. The milkstarted building up and the breastbecame harder and harder. Themidwife used homeopathicagents and recommended aquark compress, but nothing hel-ped. In the meantime the motherhad developed a fever of 40degrees. The gynaecologist whowas now brought in advised herto stop breastfeeding immediatelyand started her on a course ofhigh-dose antibiotics. The motherdid not want to stop breastfee-ding under any circumstances.

An experienced Bicom therapisttreated the patient with the“mastitis” and “lymph activation”programs which were stored inthe device. Immediately after thefirst therapy the patient felt a sig-nificant improvement in her chestand could lift her arms againwithout this causing pain. By thefollowing day the fever hadalmost gone. On the two daysfollowing this she was treated inthe same way and after a weekthe mother was able to breast-feed little Lena again.

Juvenile rheumatoidarthritis

A 9-year-old girl had been suffer-ing for some time from such acutepain in the knee joints that shewas no longer able to walk andwas confined to a wheelchair.The paediatric orthopaedist diag-nosed her as having juvenilerheumatoid arthritis. Laboratorytests showed raised blood sedi-mentation, raised leucocytes,rheumatism factor negative. Theorthopaedist treated this with therheumatism drug Ibuprofenwithout success. Biophysicaltesting: cow’s milk allergy. Thechild observed a 4-week abstinen-ce from cow’s milk and underwentBicom therapy twice a week.Afterwards she no longer neededa wheelchair. After a further 3weeks the little girl had no furthersymptoms. Her mother wrote 3months later to say that her childwas doing very well. She nowenjoys trampolining and aerobics.

Anti-smoking therapy

When the general practice wassent its Bicom device, the practiceteam was curious to see whetherthis therapy would work as wellas had been claimed. They there-

fore decided to test out the Bicomon themselves to begin with. Theseven assistants were smokers.They received an anti-smokingtreatment with the Bicom deviceand every one of them gave upsmoking.

Ulcerative colitis

A female patient, 54 years old,became ill with colitis ulcerosa in1987 with recurring severe flare-ups: watery bloody stools werepassed almost every hour withsevere tenesmic pain, nausea,vomiting as well as muscle andjoint pain. At least twice a yearshe received hospital treatment.Long-term therapy followedbased on 5ASA, Colifoam andPrednisone.

Half a year prior to the onset ofthe illness, the patient had had afilling removed.

In June 1992 the biophysicalallergy diagnosis was: cow’s milkprotein allergy, amalgam stress.

Bicom therapy: amalgam elimi-nation, allergy therapy. At thebeginning of October 1992 thepatient was completely cured ofall symptoms and to this daythere has been no recurrence.
