ApplicAble inside / horizontAlThe electric driven power blowers do not produce any exhaust fumes, thus providing the possibility of using it inside of buildings without any problems. Additionally, they can be operated in any possible position, horizontally as well as vertically; for example in order to ventilate an airshaft.

silentThe full power is not needed in all operations. With a frequency controlled electric drive the air output can be adjusted to the specific requirements.

With reduced speed the noise level can be lowered tremendous-

ly, up to 80% less noise. An electric drive running on low speed with a

special Low-Noise blade is almost silent.

Our Power Blowers have a lightweight frame, an aluminum shroud, solid rubber wheels with bearings and an ergonomic flip-up handle that allows easy transport, even for taller fire fighters. Manifold grips and the low weight make the han-dling of the fans easy.

Our power blowers are especially designed for the demanding requirements of fire departments. The completely welded, powder-coated lightweight steel-frame protects engine and shroud. It is extremely strong and durable.

sTUrDY AND relIABle

All Power Blowers have a foot-operated tilt-device for a quick and easy adjustment of the fan according to different operational conditions. The Power Blower can be tilted into a positive or negative direction, for example in order to ventilate a basement from the top-level of the stairs.

oPTIMAl ADJUsTMeNT

The structural conditions of an operational site cannot be influenced. Spring-loaded rubber feet that are positioned at the outer edges of the fan guarantee utmost stability regardless of the soil’s quality or even on steep surface.

The outlet grill Vent4MAX with a icone-shaped shroud reduces turbulences within the air jet. Since turbulences reduce power and pressure, Vent4MAX increases the effectiveness of power blowers. Laminar air jet allows more air being pushed into the building, thus optimizing the ventilation and operational safety.

The High-Pressure Power Blowers (HP) have the special outlet grill Vent4MAX and a cone-shaped shroud design for a more compacted air-stream. This “full jet” creates a much higher pressure inside the building and the high air velocity allows positioning the Power Blower in a greater distance from f the entrance opening.This design makes the HP-models extremely powerful together with most compact dimensions.

The high pressure Power Blowers (HP) cover a wide range of buildings in the communal field of operations. These models have been especially developed for the ventilation of apartment houses and multistory or com-plex buildings in order to compensate the loss of

pressure caused by staircases or long corridors. They combine very high power with low weight and small dimensions, the latter using up very little storage room in a vehicle.

The use of combustion engine-driven power blowers can be critical in facilities like in the food industry, hospitals or residential care homes for elderly due to exhaust fumes. Since these facilities are mostly very large, the ventilation equipment should provide an output as high as possible. Electro-blowers do not produce any fumes and can therefore be used in such delicate locations or inside a building. Delivery is possible with either fixed frequency (ES) or adjustable frequency (EV).

By using a special, crescent-shaped impeller the noise is significantly reduced.

Plant fire departments normally face a special challenge: the facilities they have to deal with are by far bigger than in municipal operating conditions. Standard ventilation reaches the limits of its performance capability very quickly. Due to the size of the buildings, fire brigades very often have to use more than one blower in order to keep smoke away from adjoining buildings.

SmoKe eJector

The Smoke Ejector EBS 16 is a compact axial blower designed to be used for both positive pressure ventilation and negative pressure ventilation, working powerfully as well as reliably. The steel shroud with integrated handles features safety grills made of anodized steel wire and vibration absorbing rubber feet. With the optional adapters, ventilation hoses can be mounted on the intake side and on the pressure side of the blower.The smoke ejector is also available as EBEx 16 with explosion-proof components.

All electric components are explosion proof, for more safety during operation. Additionally, the Power Blower is equipped with an antistatic impeller and antistatic rubber tires.

ACCessorIes

The water mist attachment fits to every blower size. You can mount it easily and fast via a magnet on the outlet grill. Water supply takes place via a D-Storz-connection. The especially designed extruder heads create a very fine water mist that is best for cooling hot air or condensing released gases or fumes.

WATER MIST SYSTEM

Using optimal accessories make the application of Tempest Power Blowers even more flexible and versatile. Size and design of the Power Blower is of no importance for the application.

Spiral tubes for specifically directed airflow and the suction cleaning of cold smoke, contaminated air and fumes are available in various models, fitting for all ventilator sizes; anti-static (black, flame resistant), heat-resistant up to 180ºC (grey, flame resistant) and standard ( yellow, flame resistant).

The BIG canopy for air deviation serves for redirecting the horizontal airflow created by a Power Blower into a vertical direction (for ventilating sewer systems, cellars, large fuels tanks and the like). The attached apron presses itself against the shaft during the process of ventilation, thus clogging the joint between canopy and shaft, and it is of no importance whether the opening is round or rectangular.

Foil tubes are best for directing the airflow over long distances and dusty areas without stirring up the dust. They can also serve for discharging sucked away fumes through clean areas without contaminating the environment. They are available in various diameters and lengths up to 100 integral meters.
