Implementation

Quick Wins

The Quick Wins aim to transform the precinct and kick start the revitalisation through a range of highly visible and community engaging projects.

• Maintenance regime

• Tree planting and revegetation

• Calm traffic on Prince Philip Drive and connect playground to Big Swamp

Staging and Implementation

The concept plan has been developed with the City and stakeholders to provide a realisable design that can be implemented over the next decade. Design decisions consider:

• Existing infrastructure

• Available funding

• Existing allocated City resources

• Ongoing costs

The goal is to provide the City with a range of methods to transform the precinct and realise the concept plan even when funding for large scale projects is unavailable.

Empower the community and local groups (such as Friends of Big Swamp) to realise the masterplan.
