JUNIOR DISTRICT CHAMPS - MIXED CURLING Well another season of curling has come and gone. We had a senior team and a junior team. Both teams did really well. This year we had 6 on our junior team and we came out on top at Junior Districts in Kyle. Thanks to everyone that made that possible. A special thanks to the Biggar Curling Club and Preston who took care of the ice and always made sure we had ice time. Thanks to Amy Arnal for all your help with coaching. Biggar Senior Boys Basketball Team Wins Conferences Playoff This past weekend March 6/7 the Biggar Senior Boys Basketball Team hosted the Conference 4 playoffs. Teams from Biggar, Asquith, Saskatoon Christian, Kerrobert, Walheim, Hafford, Hepburn and Luseland at-tended. On Friday night the boys played Hepburn and won 71-30. Then on Saturday in the semifinals they played Sas-katoon Christian. This was a close game all the way with the Blazers prevailing 61-47. This put the Blazers in the final against a very tall and talented Waldheim squad. The Blazers came out fast and firing on all cylin-ders, built up and early lead and ended up winning 86-63. Congratulations to the Biggar Blazers 2020 Conference champions!
