STEP 3 CREDIBITY/ MISSION STATEMENT

This is the most important section of your copywriting. This

section is like the trailer for your movie or the commercial for

your story. So it is very important that you pay close

attention to the examples given, one is credibility the other is

a mission statement:

Credibility Opening: This credibility statement belongs one of a great mentor (Gregory Drake). I

thought it would serve as a great example.

My discontentment with college inspired me to start my first

home business at age 19. Next took a lagging Saab

franchise and triple its sales in less than 2 years. (Not bad for

a 23 year old)

Then moved into the financial industry selling, training, and

managing for mortgage companies! Since that time I have done

training calls for Val Smyth's Mentors in Motion, MLM

Goldmine, asked to be a contributing author for a network

marketing magazine, and have been invited by Joe Schroeder

(creator of the FUNDED PROPOSAL) to do calls for his lead

generation program.

All because I found a video on you tube that taught me how

to take my success offline with other companies and do it for

myself online! I launched an international advertising campaign

that got me *MASSIVE EXPOSURE* in the US & Canada and

as far away as Japan, the Netherlands, & UK! And I made

more money in a week at home in my *UNDERWEAR* than I

used to make a month on my full time professional job... but I

will get back to that a little later...

Mission statement opening:

Well first let me start ot by saying tha I was just lke

you. Looking for Financial change and more

want the time and freedom to explore the relationships that

they never had when they were growing up because the

most important man in my life was too busy making a living,

rather than designing his life. If you’re looking to find out

how the person that you are can actually be the reason for

I found a way to design my business around my life, not

my life around my business but I’ll get back to that later!

Here is an example of how to do your history:

I was born in High Point, NC which is also known as the “Furniture

Capital of the World” and also home of the American Idol “Fantasia

Barrino”. I was raised by my mother in a single parent household. My

mother was a very strong woman who struggled her whole life

Now for those of you who are reading this who also has been raised in a

single parent household let me tell you now that it’s not easy. Trust me

but I’m grateful that I have a parent that cares about me and wants

the best for me. I grew up in the roughest part of High Point, North

Carolina. If you have ever grew up in or around the projects then you

already know what type of life I had....It was a poor environment, but it

was rich in so many other ways.

The projects were rich in Multiple Cultures, Family, Relationship

building, Entrepreneurship, Dreams, and Love. I have a younger brother

which I’m very blessed to have.

What we were lacking was the knowledge and the Understanding that

we all had the potential to become wealthy. Every person has the power

to become anything you want to be but the hard truth is that the

"Projects" or the "Ghetto" unfortunately maintains a "poverty" mindset

which is the reason why the struggle never ceases.

I watched my mother work very hard for many years but no matter

what she did, the "work" always resembled "Struggle"......It was obvious

to me that I was not cut out for that type of "Work".

For some reason, deep down inside of me, I knew that it was not

suppose to be this way. I knew we were not suppose to struggle.

I had it made up in my mind that I must retire a Multi-Millionaire by

the time I reached 30 years old because poverty was unacceptable, it

hurts emotionally and was not an option.

STEP 4 YOUR INTERESTS

When it comes to your interests BE SPECIFIC!

People are looking for those they have something in common

with so make sure to highlight those things that have

emotional ties to who you are because that will be the key to

getting them to respond to you!

Here is an example of an Interest paragraph:

“My passion was helping people prosper. I was searching ways to do

that so I knew that the only way to do that was to start your own

business”.

STEP 5 YOUR BELIEFS

In this section you just state what your beliefs are… and BE

SPECIFIC… Not all people are going to agree with your beliefs

but YOU ARE NOT LOOKING FOR ALL PEOPLE... you are

only looking for people LOOKING FOR YOU… Those people

who are looking for you will identify with who you are…NOT

WHAT YOU SELL….You are your own USP! (unique selling

perspective)

God has given ALL OF US the ability to make life the way we want it to

be, or what we "think" it should be. All of the secrets were being

revealed to me and the biggest secret of all was ...Nothing was ever

kept Secret. It was all in front of my face the whole entire time.

STEP 6 START OF YOUR BUSINESS STORY

This section is a painful one…This is where you tell people how

you got started in marketing, what you did and that it did or

didn’t work. This section is important because when the

RIGHT KIND of people read this they will identify with what

you say and how you FELT!

Here is an example of the start of a business story:

In the past I tried every network marketing and online

business out there and some I did ok but many I failed

because of one thing….no mentor. I may have the drive and

determination, but I didn’t have anybody to teach me how to

succeed and market. That was the PROBLEM!

STEP 7 1ST PROMISE & INTORDUCTION

In this step you just state what you first sponsor told you to

do, and what you did, and how it worked out…

Here is an example of the 1st promise & introduction:

When you ever join network marketing companies or online

businesses they always teach you to introduce your

opportunity to friends and family members. I knew that this

was a very bad move to do and this model doesn’t work. The

reason why I said that is because the simple fact that some

of your friends or family may not have the same vision as you

do.

STEP 8 POWER PARAGRAPH

This paragraph is where they separate the men from the boys.

Your job is to take the pain of all the systems you bought,

stick it in your prospects heart, and twist and twist and twist

until they feel the pressure internally in themselves…

Kind of like when men see someone on TV get kicked in the

nads, they don’t feel it themselves but they still whence...

YOU WANT THE SAME EFFECT IN YOUR SOCIAL

COPYWRITING!

Here is an example of the power paragraph:

I started back jumping in all kinds of home businesses such

as...Selling Juices, Cellphones, Lotions,Vitamins, Scented Oils,

Alarm systems, computers, Satellite Receivers, Pre-paid Legal,

Mortages, Car sales, Primerica......I could go on....really.

Then I realized something........NOTHING WORKED

BECAUSE I HATED SELLING!

STEP 9 WHY YOU DIDN’T QUIT

I think the title explains this section so I will just get to the

example if you don’t mind:

I got my hands on the DVD “The Secret”. After I saw that

movie my eyes and my mind opened up immediately. I realized

that I have the power to create my own world and my life.

STEP 10 HOW YOU FOUND YOUR SPONSOR/

OPPROTUNITY

In this section you paint the picture of the first meeting of

your sponsor or opportunity. The way you found it is very

important in your prospects eyes because they need

SECURITY that they can do the same thing…

Here is an example of step 10:

I started to Vibrate at a level that would only attract people,

situations and circumstances that would work completely within

my favor. Miracles started to happen in my life on a regular

basis. The better and more positive my thoughts became, the

better my life got. No Joke. I mean I could tell you

things that would just blow your mind about the incredible

experiences I've had since I handed my mindset to God and let

him have his way.

I started attracted specific books into my life like: The Science of

getting Rich, Think Like A Billionaire, The Millionaire Mindset, The

Richest Man Ever Lived, Why We Want You Rich, Think and Grow Rich,

and of course the Bible and many more. These books confirmed that

God has given ALL OF US the ability to make life the way we want it to

be, or what we "think" it should be. All of the secrets were being

revealed to me and the biggest secret of all was ...Nothing was ever

kept Secret. It was all in front of my face the whole entire time.

I ended up finding someone that really cared about me and went

through the same problem that I had becoming successful in business.

His name is Antonio Brutus. He helped me in ways that no one else have

in the past. He helped me understand the psychology of marketing and

how to attract 1,000 of people on a daily basis without even picking up

the phone. I was immediately blown away.

STEP 11 THE STEP BY STEP PROCESS

Ok let’s go to psychology 101The average Joe is simple. Has an

employee mindset but the heart of an entrepreneur.

So he needs to be told what to do in order to accomplish it. That is

why he needs to know there is a step by step process available so

he can accomplish the goal which you explained in your

copywriting is achievable.

He gave me a 1-2-3 step by step system that enrolls more people in

my business in a month than I used to do all year by just giving

away mp3’s, booklets, and training materials that home business

owners are already looking for, for FREE!

STEP 12 WHAT YOU LEARNED

In this step you talk about what you learned and how you are

applying what your marketing system has taught you…

Here is an example of step 12:

Using this system I am able to bridge my prospects from the internet

to an off line mail order system. I learned people still have that weird

anticipation of receiving stuff in the mail, and when it comes FREE and

it helps them take there business to another level… THEY JUST

FALL IN LOVE WITH ME! (Just like Oprah’s O magazine) They love

the free stuff so much that they think in there mind “If the free

stuff is this good… how good is the stuff that costs money?"




STEP 13 NOW MY LIFE IS A DREAM

In this step you begin to explain how your life has changed

since you start using the system.

When you first get started you just need to explain what you

have the opportunity to do now that you have this system and

how much money you make per prospect…

Important Note: I know what you’re thinking. How can I write about how much money I

made when I’m just learning how to set up my MYSPACE page to reflect

my Success. Especially if I didn’t experience success yet. Well let me put you

at ease. It’s ok to write about the success of people calling you and wanting

to know about you and your business. Why?.....Because if you follow exactly

what I am telling you to do in this e-book, ……… people will call you. This is

something that is going to happen. So it’s ok to write about it. Just don’t say

you made thousands of dollars when you know you didn’t. That would be

unethical. The point I’m also making is that “success” does not have to mean

that you are making thousands of dollars a month. 97% of people fail at

home businesses because they can’t get NOT EVEN ONE PERSON to call

them or contact them about their business. So if you are getting people to call

you and contact you…..that is definitely a level of success that you never had

before and that is something you should definitely put on your MYSPACE Page.

You will find that most people will respond to that very quickly.

Like you did!

Example:

Now I have the opportunity to travel and spend time with my

family the way I always wanted too because now I am making $80

to $800 per sale with my theSecretChangedMyLife.com website.

Here is an example of what I have for my dream statement now:

Now I am living a dream...

This is a Dream come true because now I do not have to worry

about money. I can help an "Average Joe" actually make money

on-line just by doing a Certain thing in a Certain Way.....and

its Real Easy! I now know what it takes to become wealthy and I have

made it my purpose to let you and everyone else know "The Truth" on

how to make it happen. You "can" do this from home and from

anywhere in the world, when you are taught to do Certain

things.....in a Certain Way.




STEP 14 THANK YOU FOR READING

Since you took the time to get to know who I am by reading

STEP 15 & 16 CALL TO ACTION & FREE GIFT!

In your call to action you must give away something free that

has PRECEIVED VALUE…In other words something that they

are looking for that will bring value to them for free that

flows along with what you are selling or promoting…Giving away

free samples of what you are offering just like the market

owner always works best. But in the call to action you must be

specific on what you want the reader to do weather call you,

send you a MySpace message or go to your website…

Each tactic will get results but try each one and see what

works best for you!

EXAMPLE:

What we are doing doesn't just work for those in the U.S but

WORLD WIDE. I have Friends in Africa and Canada learning

and implementing this system, so don’t let geography stand in

your way of a lifestyle of “Freedom” making money from home

or where ever you feel like working!

STEP 19 VIDEO

This video is important and can change the tide in weather

your page converts or not…There are some strategies’ I use…

One is to either build your credibility or to put a video

validating your point of view about marketing….

I also choose videos that evoke emotion….This is very

important.

When you go to my page I have a video of a song called

“Golden by Jill Scott and The God In Me by Mary Mary”.

This video at times makes me very happy because I can do

anything and that I have there is no limitation and I can be

free! So this video spoke volumes to me and will speak volumes

to so many others.

I also have a video of Motivational Speaker Michael Beckwith

and Author Napoloen Hill speaking primarily about mindset.

I also have some videos that are very motivational called

“Motivational Money Message” and people are responding

very well to these videos. You can use any of these videos if

you want to. They really do work! I will be also adding a video

of myself, telling you a little about myself. If you check my

MYSPACE Page and you don’t see it, I just didn’t add it yet.

But you should definitely add a video of “You” as soon as

possible.

Because I market this way I have no competition

because people are buying me not my business

opportunity…

Step 20 & 21

WHO YOU WOULD LIKE TO MEET SECTION:

In this section it is important to weed out prospects that are

interested in your products by creating statements that chase

the WRONG KIND of people away. This is why it is important

to state who you want to me and who you don’t want to meet.

Here is an example of what I am talking about:

I am looking for hardworking, self motivated, men and women with a

burning desire to see there dreams accomplished in there life!

For 9 plus years I had been diligently searching for an answer I knew existed

and believe me it was better than I ever expected when it finally reached me.

I learned that Humility is the greatest attribute to obtaining wealth because

that's when you realize that you know nothing.....and the Creator knows

everything. And he will show you everything you want to know and give you

everything you want in life when you finally "step out of the way" and let him

have his way with you.

In saying that:

I only want to meet people who are humble.

I don't want to meet whiners....

I don't want to meet complainers...

I don't want meet those looking for a hand out.....

You only have two choices in life to MAKE EXCUSES OR MAKE MONEY. So I

only want to talk to those that are DETERMINED TO MAKE MONEY

BECAUSE YOU CAN'T DO BOTH...

Why does that matter to me?

I decided that it is best not to waste my time and energy trying to help out

the *WRONG* people.

Whiners and complainers don't want me to teach them what I am doing to

make money online... they want me to DO IT FOR THEM... (SLAVE

MENTALITY!)

That's why if you're not someone who is * ABSOLUTELY SERIOUS* about

success... then don't even bother trying contact me because there's not much

I can do for you.

If a man is not willing to work... HE CAN'T EAT... (you know the

scripture!)

But if you wake up every morning with this feeling in your gut that there

has got to be more to life than this, and you are tired of sitting on the

sidelines watching the game when you know you were meant to grab the
