Children need different approaches to be successful in the generation ahead. To be successful in the future we need to raise children who will be innovators themselves, as well as, motivators able to interact with a variety of people. Children living in today’s world need more than just a good education. Academic adeptness no longer guarantees a good future.

We want children to be encouraged and challenged from the stories of famous entrepreneurs who started at a very young age. We know that not everyone is purposed to become a businessman or businesswoman, but having an entrepreneurial mind nourished early in life will benefit greatly towards any entrepreneurial lifestyle, and more so where change in life approach becomes essential to survival.

Please read our sets of Entrepreneurial books for preschoolers.

One day, when Bill was around thirteen years old, his father saw him busily tapping away on his computer. “What is keeping you busy?”, asked Bill’s Dad. “Just a new computer program, Dad. It’s my own computer version of tic-tac-toe.”, replied Bill.

Bill worked hard on his tic-tac-toe computer game. Finally, he was ready to show off his finished work! But, to his disappointment, the program did not work!

Wanting to help, Bill’s father placed his arm around his son and said, “I’m sure you can finish that. Just learn from your mistakes and ask the right questions.”

Displaying wisdom beyond his years, Bill did exactly what his father told him. After several more attempts, the young Bill Gates came up with his first computer program... a tic-tac-toe game!

This was followed four years later by a time-tabling computer system which the young entrepreneur sold to his own school for more than four thousand dollars!
