Remember when City workers weresandblasting lead paint off the bridgesand the chips were falling every-where? Lucy Billings led the courtfight to force the City to clean up its mess: not just on the bridges andelevated subways, but in housing, daycare centers, and schools.

She stopped the City frompoisoning us.

Lucy helped a mother winback her sons.

When Linda Hauser left her abusivehusband, she had no way to supporther children. The City told her to puther three boys in foster care until shewas back on her feet.

When she got a full-time job, hernightmare began: the City refused togive back her kids! She turned to LucyBillings, who sued the City. Lucy’ssuit brought the family back together.

When Catherine Gibbons’sheart was failing, LucyBillings gave her new hope.
