Nowadays, to operate successfully on a global scale, a company has to present itself as a brand, because a consistent brand appearance is the only way of conveying a clear-cut image of itself. And only in this way can synergies gained through global marketing activities be used to greatest effect.
The most important element of a brand is its general visual appearance – its corporate design. Details of BILSTEIN‘s new corporate design are given on the following pages, together with straightforward rules and practical guidelines for creating printed or electronic media. Please familiarise yourself with this information and ensure you always follow the guidelines, because having a clearly visible and consistent brand image for BILSTEIN benefits us all.

Logo size and BILSTEIN barOne basic bar is used throughout all adverti-sing material: the BILSTEIN bar. The BILSTEIN logo is situated within this bar in a specified size.
For frequently used formats, there are three defined heights for the BILSTEIN bar with the BILSTEIN logo.
In these formats, the size and positioning of the logo are fixed. For larger DIN formats, the dimensions are modified proportionally. Special formats are to be optically adjusted.

Non-DIN formatsIn the case of formats that do not correspond to DIN sizes, the measurements for a similar DIN format should be used. For the US Letter format, for example, the size of the BILSTEIN bar with the BILSTEIN logo matches the measurements of the similar A4 format.

BILSTEIN is more than a family name. The word represents the entire company, its products, its unique technologies and all the people who live this brand day in day out. That is why we have specific ways of writing the name.
