BIM is an acronym for Building Information Modeling BIM is an approach to aproject that involves the construction of a virtual

model of reality In traditional designing plans elevations and sections are processed

along with three-dimensional visualizations mutually independently form each other and attention had to be made to make the view of the object correct and all updated during design process

In BIM plans, sections, elevations and 3d views are different views of the same model, so errors due to inconsistencies between views cannot be made

In addition, the model offers a wide range of information such as size, bill of quantities, cost analysis, energy analysis, etc.

This is why this approach is used in all of the advanced projects that are being developed globally

Views of the model can be for example the sections or elevations

More complex views of the project / model can be easily obtained, for example exploded isometric

Sectional axonometric

Particular elements can be highlighted in the selected display, for example, the structure or the lighting system , etc . to be developed in particular phase

Detailed views are very precisely displayed allowing better communication to the customer, the maker and the work team. Transparencies can be added to the display mode so x-ray view can be shown

During the development of the design process three-dimensional views are produced thus allowing to visually communicate a project’s end result in a semi-realistic view. Fully detailed realistic renderings are generated once the design work is completed, thus communicating to the press or the outside of the team community the results of the work. While design processing the client, the art director or future users involved in the design process following the development will have a better understanding of the design and final result, reducing the margin of misunderstanding the project at an early stage.

Each building element is categorized based on coding systems based on international standards or according to customer requirements. Quantities are tabulated with spreadsheets dynamically linked to the model, therefore, always updated in each of the design step thus allowing a very accurate cost control

The model is made by using construction elements which are named families. Each family is defined according to the category it belongs to, for example: Furnishings Lighting system Air conditioning plant Special plants Door Etc.

The spaces analysis of is developed with a control very close to reality with ability to view the masses and spatial relationships and movement in space in a very intuitive way so avoiding evaluation errors not easily found without the spatial modeling

The parameters for each type of family relate to the type of object that is parameterized, typically we can have the following parameters: dimensions

• which vary depending on the positioning of the family within the model . For example, the shelves will be of different length ...

material • Will vary depending on the type of project that we want to build. A family can be the same but it may

show variations on parameters such as material or color. For example, tables or shelves can be made of glass or laminate or lacquer ...

cost Other specific characteristics such as brightness if it is a family of lighting appliances or thermal insulation capacity if it is a wall family...

Working with families involves the standardization of elements that

stick to the corporate image, for example, for a company that sets up

in a retail projects repetitive elements are made of families and

adapted to different locations

The ability to set and modify design parameters varying them

according to project improvements based on feedback from the

operators such as store managers or customers

Improved possibility of construction contracts without surprises

thanks to the best representation of the project and the clearest

definition of the documentation attached to the tender packages

Operating in the cloud sharing update documents

Collaborative BIM with viewing shared documents in the work team

Ability to display the model and produce prints

Documents update in a geographically dispersed team in different areas

Online tendering

Possibility of creating complex shapes, curved or with double curvatures defining the geometry of shapes otherwise difficultly representable

Our services include the following stages of design and construction, our services can be limited only to the engineering of the project providing assistance to other internal or external client’s offices or collaborating from the first creative phase of the project Concept design

• Development of design alternatives based on the needs of the customer to innovate the image and the impact of outlets

• Views and video and illustrative materials of the project / proposal

Scheme design • Development of the documents required for building practice

Construction design • Preparation of the model-based working drawings with precision and realistic definition with reduced

requirements to decision taken during construction with high control of time and costs and minimization

• Schedules, and cost analysis

Project management • Management of the construction process with the selection of sub contracts and monitoring

implementation
