The BIMiTs extensions are a series of add-in utilities for

Autodesk Revit (Architecture, Structure and MEP). The

tools extend the capabilities of Revit in various key

areas. They are easy to use and make working in Revit

easier and more efficient.

Manage toolsUsers can easily manage theirRevit family libraries with toolslike Export and Import. You canchoose one or more families andimport them into a currentproject or export them to a chosen folder.

Multi Type Editor displays thefamilies and family types in aproject. You can manage familytypes and their properties bydisplaying selected types in atable and edit multiple valuesat once.

The new tool BIM Query enablesthe user to quickly edit Type andInstance properties for selected Categories. The user can editproperties with a built-inspreadsheet editor or save andopen in MS Excel and applychanges back to the Revit model.

SelectSelection Filter enablesefficient control over theselection of certain elements.This tool helps users tofilter elements either fromthe current selection, thewhole model or the activeview. The user also has theoption to select elementsaccording to their properties.

Select by category/by type: With this tool we overcome aRevit limitation and are ableto select instances by anindicated category ofprevious selected elements.

Text AlignThe Edit tools include a set oftools for aligning text accordingto selected elements. The toolsare especially useful when editingyour annotation tag families.

Legend by Category can generatea table of various elements in justa few steps. Users can create atable of Windows, Doors, Furniture,Walls, Roofs, etc.

With View tools the user can edita crop region, copy it and alsoarrange viewports on sheet.

Category Toggle tool enablesthe user to switch ON and OFFany category in a projectin multiple selected view at once.

The new tool Quick On/Offtoggles has a similar function asCategory Toggle, but quicker. It enables you to switch certainCategories on or off in the active view.

With the Sheet Manager tool, users are able to edit the sheetnames, numbers…. Parameterscan be grouped and filtered asneeded to enable a betteroverview of data on the sheets.One advanced feature offers thepossibility to duplicate the sheetthen change views on this newsheet

With version 2014 some newpossibilities for the creation ofassembly views areimplemented.

With the Project Cleanup the user can create a lightweight file that contains only the views pertinent to the specified discipline. Use the tool to selectively delete views from the project and then save the view configuration to use again later, even in other projects.

Project Cleanup

The tool Create Assembly Viewsenables you to quickly generate Assembly Views for selected Assemblies by specifying Viewsand a Title block. Once you are satisfied with the settings, the tool generates all required views andplaces them on the Sheets.

Query ToolsThe Query tools set can analyzeselected geometry. With toolslike Element Insertion, ElementLenght and Element Thickness the user can store built-in calculated values in sharedparameters.

Multi Join is a tool thatcombines the basic Revitfunctions Join and Switch Join Order into one tool. It allows the user to join multiple objects in one operation in which priorities can be set from the start.

The edit toolset includes tools forcreating floors based on selectedrooms and tools for easier grid name editing.
