    1.0 EXECUTIVE SUMMARY

    The Jom Singgah Enterprise is a new company that is fully owned by Bumiputera

    citizens which has established since 9th

    September 2011 in Malaysia. Jom Singgah Enterprise has

    its own shops lots located at Taboh Naning, Malacca where the land area 15,000 sq ft at the

    corner lots and we own the shop lots. This company has been built to fulfill the current markets

    demand without neglecting the environmental friendly awareness. The product that has been

    produced is name Organic Ants Terminator which using 100% natural organic plants and no

    chemical added. The traditional practice to expel ants from coming over, has been applied to this

    product by using Star Anise (Bunga Lawang). The raw products are taken from our supplier and

    it is grinded by using the grinding machine. Then, the product been packaging and sell in our

    shop lots. Our product been presented with the modern and contemporary which suits the taste of

    the markets today. The other product is in the form of gel and sprays which some are not

    comfortable with the packaging and the appliances. Our product can be the house decorator

    because people would not know it is the ant terminator unless been told because of the packaging

    and the outside look. So, our product is like killing two birds in a single stone because it can be

    decorator and dispels the ants. The technology that been implemented is grinder machine toproduce our own product.

    2.2 BUSINESS INTENT

    2.2.1 PRODUCT OFFERED

    This company produce organic product made from 100% natural material to customer. Our

    product have own uniqueness and strength to attract costumer in all generation. Based on the

    product, our company trust that we can provide organic product in market trend in order to

    satisfy customer need. Basically the main material of organic ant terminator is star anise. Star

    anise comes by its name honestly, with its star shape and a licorice taste similar to regular

    anise, only stronger. Star anise is the seed pod of an evergreen tree (Illicium Verum) grown in

    southwestern China and Japan. It is about one inch high with eight segments and a dark

    brown rust color. Like regular anise, star anise gets its distinctive licorice taste from a

    chemical compound called another. However the two are not related botanically - star anise

    is a member of the Magnolia family.

    2.2.2 MARKET NEEDED

    There are about 20 residential areas around Taboh Naning, which makes the number of

    residents living nearby to be about 30 000. JOM SINGGAH enterprise wants to establish a

    large regular customer base, and will therefore concentrate its business and marketing on

    local residents, which will be dominant target market. This product will establish a 100%

    environmental friendly, 100% natural, organic, easy handling and eco friendly. In additions,

    our target is to market our product Organic Ant Terminator to the international. High

    2.3.1 FINANCIAL STRATEGIES

    Jom Singgah Enterprise started business using personal capital which is every single

    person supply around RM 150000. The starting capital is used for start-up our company,

    production, marketing, promotion and packaging but in lower quantity of production which is

    4800 packet per month. After 1 year of operation, our company has increase the production

    around 10000 per month. To fulfill the demands of consumers, our company has been

    making loans around RM100,000 from PUBLIC Bank with purpose to increase the

    production and make extra promotion.

    2.3.2 TECHNOLOGY AND PRODUCT DEVELOPMENT STRATEGIES

    The uniqueness of our organic ants terminator was used the star anise as the main raw

    material. By using the latest technology and upgrade the formulation is possible to increase

    productivity and cut cost in labour. Production of JOM SINGGAHs was used high

    technology equipment method such as grinder machine and packaging machine. There are

    the technology and product development strategies that used in JOM SINGGAH Enterprise

    in term to production our groceries.

    GRINDER MACHINE

    A grinding machine, often shortened to grinder is amachine tool used forgrinding,

    which is a type ofmachining using anabrasive wheel as thecutting tool. Each

    grain of abrasive on the wheel's surface cuts a small chip from the workpiece via

    shear deformation.

    Grinding is used to finish workpieces which must show high surface quality and

    highaccuracy of shape and dimension. As the accuracy in dimensions in grinding

    Our main products include various kinds of production lines such as filling

    in-one machines. Many products have been awarded the honor of hi-tech products.

    Marketing is a crucial part for each of new company to grow and to be success especially

    in term of sales and products recognition. In order to attract customers to buy the product, so

    the main focus is that the product being produced by the company itself must be compliment

    with specialty that is not available at any other existing products in the market. As for JOM

    SINGGAH Enterprise, based on the products name itself which is Organic Ants Terminator it

    has clearly displays the specialty or the uniqueness of the product which is 100% from organic

    plants which name is Star Anise (Bunga Lawang). Compared to the most of existing products

    in the market, the products are made of chemical and it could be harmful to the customers even

    though for an adult and to make it worse it is dangerous for the kids.

    Ant can be categorized as unwanted insects that usually lingering around where we

    stayed or where we are at. They will wait for you to go to sleep, then climb on your face and

    bite you.They're coming for your family by way of your nightmares and they need to be

    stopped. The product name is Organic Ant Terminator have wide range of customers that need

    it in order to terminate the ant. The customers that we target for our product is in categories:

    1) Students

    Students usually facing problems when dealing with insects so called as the ant. In

    addition, scientifically proven that if we consume the ant whether accidentally or not the

    chemical that release by the ant will cause the degration of the memory.

    2) Residents

    Ant usually lingering around in the household or the workplace area that annoyed people

    because the ants will lingering around them and sometimes bite them. So, the adults

    usually they are trying the very best to terminate the ant from their lives.

    2.5 REVENUE MODEL

    Revenue model is describes methods of generating income for the company. In addition,

    the innovative company will invents the revenue model on its own creativity to satisfy the

    customer and also to builds sales of the product. Below is our revenue model:

    1) Products uniqueness

    Till today, there are no products that will dispel away the ants with zero pollution and

    100% organic. Currently, people are more aware about the environmental friendly usage

    thus this is when we are promoting the ant terminator that is environmental friendly. In

    addition, our product dispels the ant in the presentable form which is in modern and

    contemporary design.

    2) Reasonable price

    The price that we put for our product is at very reasonable and affordable price. The price

    of our product is RM3.00 per packet which in one packet consists of 3balls. If for some

    people feels that it is not worth to buy it, they can share with their friends and family

    where the concepts is sharing is caring. At the same time, more people will use the

    product that we sell and the tendencies for them to buy more are higher.

    3) Safe handling

    The product is safe is contains no chemical and produces zero waste. If it is put at the

    food storage area it will not contaminate the food. This is because no chemical in the

    product. It is safe to small kids also thus parent need not to worry anymore. It will attract

    more adults to buy our product.

    2.6 OPERATIONAL SETUP

    1) Shop lots and facilities

    Jom Singgah Enterprise shop lots

    Jom Singgah Enterprise has its own shops lots located at Taboh Naning, Malacca where

    the land area 15,000 sq ft at the corner lots and we own the shop lots. The facilities that

    we own are there is grinder machine where all the production takes place. In addition, for

    the packaging the products the equipment that been used is packaging machine. The raw

    products are taken from our supplier and it is grinded by using the grinding machine.

    Then, the product been packaging and sell in our shop lots.

    2) Operation hours

    The operation hours that for our company is from 10.00am till 10.00pm and close only

    for Sunday as for Saturday from 9.00am-12.01pm. During public holiday our company

    will closed also and we follow the Malaysian calendar.

    3) Employee

    Our company is a small industry scale thus the required employee are not much. There

    are ten employee including two technicians. All the employees especially the technician

    will undergo the training under the management team.

    2.7 SHORT TERM GOALS OF THE COMPANY

    As a new start-up company, there are several short term goals that the company wants to

    achieve. First is to get the product become commercialize in the market and well acceptance

    from the customers. Next is to do the strategic and effective marketing plan, in order to

    promote the products since it is something new and something that are not available in the

    market yet. People need to be notifies with this new product, and they must be inform on how

    to get the products. Lastly is to introduce the benefits of the product at affordable price to the

    customers.

    2.8 LONG TERM GOALS OF THE COMPANY

    Growing a business requires setting short- and long-term goals and the ultimate goal of a

    company is to survive for as long as possible. The longer business survives, the more it ages

    with respect and awareness to let business thrive. In the next three years, Jom Singgah

    Enterprise long term goal is to broaden up our branch in the Peninsular Malaysia first for

    example, Sabah and Sarawak. Then we are aiming to obtain the accreditation and recognition

    from the Malaysian authority to gain more trust from the customers. Currently the production

    that we are in is 4800packets per month and we are aiming to increase it to 10 000 packets in

    next years because with the aid from the promotion, we are confidence that we are going to

    increase the market demand in the future. In addition, in the next couple of years the green

    technology will be widely spread thus our product that implementing the green technology will

    be one of the attraction that will boost up the markets.

    There is a lot food product company competing at the market and lots of category. Jom

    Singgah Enterprise can be category under the pest control scope and the pest that been chosen

    is ants. The competitors that will be competing to our company are mainly from the ant

    exterminator and also the commercial ant terminator. Although this is the challenges that our

    company needs to face, we also have our strength to compete with those competitors and at the

    above is the main criteria that we are competing.

    Firstly, our product is eco friendly unlike the competitors that we are facing. They mainly

    used chemical to get rids of the ants and this will harm the environment. The chemical rake

    faster reaction to dispel the ant but the consequence gives massive impact to our environment.

    Currently, our environment is in a bad situation thus the chemical usage will worsen the

    situation. That is when our product took place where we produce zero waste, 100% organic andno chemicals. Even though the effect takes time but it is guarantee that it will dispel the ant in

    the safe way.

    Our product that is organic ant terminator contains no chemicals and 100% organic thus it

    is safe to use. It is safe to put the product near food storage to dispel the unwanted ants. Unlike

    the our competitors, the chemical contains inside it will cause danger if it is wrongly put or if it

    is accidentally consume even in the little amount.

    Next is our product is in the affordable price. The price of our product is RM3.00 per

    packet which in one packet consists of 3balls and it can be last up to several months. Unlike the

    other products, there are quite expensive because the chemical that been used are expensive

    and are not long lasting. The competitors price are RM2.00 per packet also there some in the

    spray form which the price is RM12.00 and the form is easily to be wipe away by the air or any

    other source. However, our product in the ball form which it is sustainable and at the low price.

    solution products. It is been established for several years and it is an established company.

    Apply one station of ant bait each time at the area where ants detected. The ants will consume

    the bait and will bring to the nest. They will distribute the bait to the colony members.
