Sunday 17 June 2018:

We assemble mid-morning at Johannesburg’s OR Tambo International Airport for check-in, before

boarding for our 13:45 departure on Singapore Airlines to Singapore. If you’d prefer to fly from Cape

Town, let us know and we’ll make the necessary arrangements with Singapore Airlines.

Monday 18 June 2018:

Upon arrival in Singapore, we zip through the airport and immigration… and catch the shuttle bus to

the ferry terminal. We head through passport control again, and board our ferry to cross the Singapore

Strait and head directly to the private ferry terminal with an expedited immigration process. It’s now

time for the holiday to truly begin, and for us to enjoy the beautiful tropical climate.

Once settled into your room, it’s time to explore the resort and its extensive private beach, many

pools, huge gardens and more… or just put your feet up and enjoy the views while sipping a cocktail.

Tuesday 19 June 2018:

With the morning at leisure, we gather after lunch to go on an afternoon into evening excursion

(included) to the local eco-farm where you will have the opportunity to see some of the local fauna

and flora up close and personal… including the impressive and intimidating Komodo Dragon.



From there, we head off to the mangroves for a guided tour by speed boat… followed by a firefly

experience in the mangroves after the sun has dropped over the horizon and the nightlife comes out

to play. It truly is a once in a lifetime experience and you’d be forgiven for thinking it’s a fairytale!

Wednesday 20 June 2018:

Our first round of golf is on one of the two courses on the resort grounds. The Woodlands Golf Course,

designed by Ian Baker-Finch and just a short 100m walk from the hotel reception, is laid out over

dramatically changing terrain using the large undulation of the natural landscape to the fullest.

Many of the greens are surrounded by steep slopes and mounds to create an amphitheater. The

course will entice, challenge and reward… just depends on how you approach it. The 13th is known as

“Beauty and the beast”, with the elevated tee offering beautiful vistas of seaside villas and the ocean.

A local lunch is included after today’s round, while shared buggy and caddy are included in all our

rounds. And, as we return to the same clubhouse on Friday to play the Seaview Course, simply leave

your bag in the specially designated locker room. Easy!

The afternoon and evening as at leisure, so you’re free to enjoy some cocktails, go kayaking, snorkel,

laze by the pool or explore the island as you wish.

Thursday 21 June 2018:

We have another included excursion lined up for you today, so after breakfast we load up the vans

and head off at 9am on a “Gods & Dragons” tour. We explore the large tropical island and visit

Sengarrang Village built over the sea, with two of the island’s oldest temples built to give thanks for

the safe sea passage of earlysettles. From there we head to the Banyan Tree Temple, where an ancient

tree has taken over and intertwined its trunk around the structure (something familiar to those who

have visited Cambodia with us).

We also head to Tanjung Pinang for a walk around and lunch (included), while those looking for some

souvenirs and a bargain will be able to shop before head to Kwan Yin Temple and the “nest” of



dragons. Here you’ll also see the tallest statue in South East Asia - the Goddess of Mercy – before

heading back to the resort for a swim in the water ocean (or pools) and watch the sunset.

Friday 22 June 2018:

Today we play the Seaview Golf Course on the resort, designed by the masterful Jack Nicklaus, which

offers stunning seaviews and majestic sculptured bunkers, a strategic use of the natural landscape and

some unique water features.



The 12th offers a stunning backdrop of the South China Sea, while the 13th features a split green (yes,

a split green!). This course has something for everyone, and many new experiences for those who

haven’t played a large variety of courses. Lunch after golf is again included, as as buggies & caddies.

Saturday 23 June 2018:

You’re 100% at leisure today… so you have the option of exploring more of the island and what it has

to offer, or just make the most of the resort and its many activities.

If you want to fill every day with golf, chat to us about the “Unlimited Golf Upgrade” option… whereby

you’ll be able to 2 rounds a day on the resort’s courses!

Sunday 24 June 2018:

Another day for you to choose what you wish to do, and enjoy your holiday as you choose. If you want

some activities beyond the resort… why not book a guided tour, visit the nearby Lagoi Bay (a short

shuttle ride away) or join our planned scuba diving outing (optional and only if you’re a qualified diver).

There are countless activities available at the resort and on the island, so be sure to make the most of

what is on offer. We’ll probably organise a pool competition in the evening for those keen to test their

skills. Always a good laugh, especially when there’s a few bucks on the table.



Monday 25 June 2018:

Our final round of golf is on the island’s top rated course… Ria Bintan, “Golf at its most glorious” and

one of the most breathtaking courses in the world!

Set amidst lush landscapes and natural surrounds, playing Ria Bintan is “a meaningful experience and

certainly one that you will not forget” says designer Gary Player. This multi-award winning course is

regularly ranked best in Indonesia and among the top in Asia, and when you see the tantalising ocean

views and wander among the woodlands you will see why. Check out the beautiful oceanside holes,

where you’ll need your shots on target to avoid landing in the South China Sea.

Tuesday 26 June 2018:

The morning is totally at leisure before commence our homeward journey… when we catch the 1pm

ferry to head back to Singapore and, with the time difference, arrive a little after 3pm… before heading

for the airport to check-in and hand over our luggage.

You’re then welcome to head through security and emigration and enjoy what the world’s best airport

has to offer… or follow me into city centre on the sMRT train to go spend a few hours seeing what the

city has to offer.



Following me into Singapore? For those wanting to head into town, we’ll get off at City Hall station

and take a walk around some of the major sights… including Raffles, Clarke Quay, Fullerton, the Marina

Bay Precint, Singapore Flyer and more. We will part ways at some point and you’ll be able to wander

this amazing city by yourself… it truly is a great place to see.

What to spend more time in Singapore and experience what it truly has to offer? There are great

stopover packages available, which make spending a few days in this amazing city much more

affordable. With 1, 2 or 3 night packages available, you really can see it all. Just let us know…

Wednesday 27 June 2018:

Our homeward flight departs from Singapore at 01:25, and we get settled onboard the comfortable

Airbus A350 and enjoy the extensive in-flight entertainment (and some Singapore Sling cocktails).

We’re due to land in Johannesburg at 06:10, while those continuing on to Cape Town stay onboard

for the onward flight which is due to land in Cape Town at 09:25.

GENERAL INFORMATION AND TOUR CONDITIONS:

Price: The price of the tour is subject to Standard Terms and Conditions, exchange rates and airfares and taxes at time of final payment.

The price of the package is based on a minimum of 24 passengers and a reduction in this number may lead to a price adjustment for the

tour package.

Deposit and Payment: A deposit of R4 500,00 PER PERSON is payable on booking and is not refundable unless in the case of the cancellation

of the tour by the tour operators. You are therefore encouraged to take out travel insurance which includes a cancellation clause. A final

account will be e-mailed to you 8 weeks prior to departure, or on a date shortly thereafter, and is payable within 96 hours (4 days) of

presentation, No cancellations can be accepted after 8 weeks (56 days) prior to departure and the full relevant package price for the tour is

payable if cancellations are received after this date. If the booking is made 8 weeks or less before said departure date, the full contract price

is to be paid at the time of booking and may be subject to late ticket issue fees from the airline. A late payment fee of R250,00 pp will be

charged on all accounts not settled by the stipulated date.

Itinerary: The itinerary details are subject to airline timetable changes, as well as weather and technical influences.

Handicaps: All golfers must be able to provide proof of handicap upon request at the courses while on tour.

Passport, Visas & Health requirements: We provide basic advice to South African passport holders regarding visa requirements. Clients

travelling on a passport of a different nationality should check with their embassy or consulate and must make sure they have all the

necessary valid travel and health documents to comply with the requirements of the country they are visiting or travelling through.

Liabilities: The Golf Travel Company and/or their agents, in making arrangements for air and land services, act as agents only and on

condition that they shall not be liable for any injury, death, damage, loss, accidental delay or irregularity that may be occasioned by any

defect in any vehicle or form of conveyance or mishap at any place of accommodation, or for any reason whatsoever.

Insurance: Passengers are advised to have travel insurance for injury, death, accident and medical expenses, enforced pre-tour cancellation

and loss of luggage.

Changes to bookings: In the event of a change being made to your flight arrangements, including post-tour extensions and breakaways, an

additional fee will be charged by the operating airline. Please consult our office for this additional charge which varies by airline and

destination.

Cancellations and Refunds: No refund can be made for visits, sightseeing, meals, transfers, accommodation, golf or other services included

in the tour price which were not utilized. Should the client wish to cancel for whatever reason, The Golf Travel Company must be advised in

writing under the signature of the customer. No air tickets will be issued until full and final payment is received and the airline’s late ticket

issue levy will apply in the event of late payment.

Medical Certificate: A doctor’s certificate confirming good health will be required for passengers 65 years and older.

Golf cars: The Golf Travel Company will book golf cars when requested to do so by clients but cannot accept responsibility for availability on

the day.

Acceptance: The payment of the deposit by you will be deemed to be your acceptance of these tour conditions. No booking can be confirmed

until the booking form and deposit are received.
