(Biochemical Engineering) from Andhra University in November, 1991 for the thesis entitled

“Studies on Isolation, Purification, Characterization and Immobilization of a Protease

from Germinated Eleusine coracana (Ragi) Seeds”.

Post Doctoral Experience :

After submission of Ph.D. thesis on 22-03-1990, actively associated with the Research

Work of M.H.R.D Projects on Bioengineering and Bioconversion and published /presented

several papers in the following areas :

1. Purification and Characterization of Industrial Enzymes form plant and

Microbial sources.

2. Immobilization of enzymes and whole cells.

3. Hydrolysis of Starch, Cellulose and non-edible oils.

Later selected for the Research Associate ship of C.S.I.R. and joined as Research

Associate in the Department of Chemical Engineering on 1st October, 1992 and worked on

the subject.

“Enzymatic Modification of Vegetable/Animal Protein in Recycle and Ultrafiltration

Reactors using Immobilized Ragi (Eleusine coracana) Protease”.

Up to 14-03-1994.

Research Associate - CSIR Experience: 1 year 5 months 14 days (from 01-10-1992 to 14-03-

1994)

Later joined as Lecturer in the Department of Chemical Engineering, College of

Engineering, Andhra University, and Visakhapatnam on 15-03-1994.
