Curriculum Gavino Murgia---Gavino Murgia est né à Nuoro en Sardaigne. Il a commencé à jouer du saxophone alto à l'âge de douze ans. Merci au son père et il discothèque bien fournie a la possibilité de découvrir et grandir en écoutant du jazz et de musique classique. À quinze ans, il a commencé à jouer professionel avec la pop et funk et a travaillé avec plusieurs compagnies de théâtre. Participé aux séminaires de Nuoro avec Paolo Fresu et peu de temps après la Sienne de contribuer à l'Orchestre des Jeunes de Jazz italien comme le sax ténor premier. s'est immédiatement immergé dans le monde du jazz est la seule musique qui peut contenir et apprécier chaque son. il a donc commencé à travailler ayant comme langue de base du jazz avec beacoup de sortes de musique et beaucoup de musiciens qui font de nombreuses expériences musicales dans des formations de tous types duo, trio, quatuor, etc . La Sardaigne, avec sa musique de profondes racines est constamment présent dans son parcours sonore. He is from Nuoro.He started playing alto sax when he was twelve years old.Thanks to his father’s well‐stocked vinyl record collection he had the chance to discover and grow while listening to jazz and classical music.He started playing with various pop and funk groups and collaboratedwith some theatrical companies in Sardinia; he attended Paolo Fresuseminars in Nuoro and very soon after he traveled to Siena when he was19 years old to be part of the Jazz Orchestra Giovanile Italiana as firsttenor sax.This immersion in the jazz world gave him the opportunity to increase hisexperience and to get in touch with many musicians with whom he hadcountless opportunities to play and to do records in duo, trio and quartetgroups.With its deep musical roots, Sardinia was constantly present in his sonorous path.The Canto a Tenores in his Bassu (bass) part he had when he was in histeen years and the traditional study of the Launeddas (pan-pipes), slowlymerge with the African‐American music finding an original and authenticpath.Along with the Soprano and Tenor sax he also plays the Baritone sax,Flutes and Duduk.
