•A DATABASE is an organised collection of data that makes it easy to search & retrieve information online.
•DATABASES store and organise thousands of journal articles from different journals, reports and other sources.
•To find JOURNAL articles, you will need to conduct a search in a DATABASE

REFERENCING STYLES
Referencing consists of two parts:
• Acknowledge another person’s work at exact point in your essay,
called in-text citing
• Give full details of the work you used at end of essay, i.e. List of references. This enables your reader to find it should they want to read it.
