After installing the TimeKeeper 2000 software, a connection in the Timekeeper 2000 program will be created in order to download the employee in’s & out’s from the X180 device to the Timekeeper 2000 program.

2. Time Clock to PC Communication

1. Serial ConnectionWith the serial comport cable provided you can connect the time clock directly to your computer’s serial comport.

2. Serial to USB Connection

You can connect your X200 time clock using the serial comport cable provided in the box, by adding a Serial to USB converter (Not Provided ) you can connect directly to the USB ports on your computer or laptop, in case your computer does not have a serial port.

3. TCP/IP Network Connection

You can connect the X200 time clock to your network router or switch by using an ethernet cable (Not Provided) in order to assign an IP address to the time clock from your network. Note: If you are connecting via TCP/IP in order to configure your network settings (IP address, default gateway, mask ETC ) you must connect the X200 time clock to the serial port and through the program enter the network configuration.

The Bioelectronix X200-T connects to a computer in 3 different ways:
