HEALTHY AMBIENT AIR IS MORE IMPOR-TANT THAN EVER!Current studies show that air purity and humidity are essential cri-teria for virus contamination in indoor spaces. According to these studies, optimally configured ambient air has a significant impact on the transmission rate and how our defence mechanisms work.

With the newly configured Swiss pine climate box, we now combine all the advantages of turbulence-free, cold evapo-ration with pleasant ionisation and anti-virus aerosols; on a purely natural basis.

The Swiss pine climate box is a globally unique hybrid device for air purification and air hu-midification. It is both complex, simple, and incredibly smart be-cause we have adapted how it works to the intelligence of na-ture.

Without electricity and rotors.

An organic power supply – a sophisticated, thermodynamic system generated by water and zeolite (osmosis) – is at the heart of the air conditioning box. This highly efficient organic power supply sucks in the ambient air using a bi-

oactive filter system and releases it again via a trickle filter block using a cleverly designed natural purifica-tion and humidification process.

The ambient air is not only re-lieved of pollutants and odours, it is also ionised and purified by pure zeolite at the same time.

Thermodynamic air circulation without fans.

The Swiss pine climate box’s rotor-less and electric-free air circulation is based on the principle of so-called “adiabatic cooling”. During this process, the energy content of the air, which is made up of tem-perature and humidity, is reduced by the evaporation enthalpy of the water. The air is cooled, humidified and its density increased. With its sophisticated organic power supply, the air conditioning box generates an evaporation capac-ity of up to 50 watts; depending on the ambient atmosphere. In a warm and dry environment, the performance increases; in a humid and cool environment it decreases.

Self-regulating for op-timum air humidity.

The optimised process of cold evap-oration has key advantages over conventional air humidification sys-tems: it enables an optimal interior climate with an ideal humidity of between 40% and a maximum of 60% – as recommended by doctors.

Adiabatic humidifica-tion by cold evapora-tion without fans: Depending on their size and weight, aerosols contaminated with viruses and germs can float in the ambient air for hours and are distributed throughout the room by rotor humidifiers and fans, for example. The longer the time spent in the air, the greater the risk of infection, and this is directly influenced by the air turbulence in closed rooms. The refined organic power supply in the Swiss pine cli-mate box does not require elec-tricity or fans at all – therefore, pollutants are not circulating around the room; the time the particles spend floating around is cut short, and the possibility of contamination from room to room can be ruled out.

Gentle disinfection of air and surfaces.

Especially during times of increased viral contamination, the Swiss pine climate box plays another trump card: by adding electrolysed water, it ensures effective germ neutralisation for hygienic long-term operation and also enables gentle aerosol disinfection. The mineral biocide is produced from pure saline solu-tions using an innovative process and is highly effective against bacteria, viruses, fungi, and spores. It is free from solvents, aldehydes, colourants, perfumes, alcohol, and preservatives.

Double intelligence: mineral and biological active substances in-telligently combined.

For optimal hygiene, special or-ganic active substances are used in the Swiss pine climate box in addition to the mineral biocide; these are propolis and zeolite as well as the Swiss pine itself. The air is purified twice: once when the air is sucked in through the biofilter and again during the activation process inside the air conditioning box. There is also the option of using additional

Swiss pine essential oils via the integrated biopower diffuser.

Zeolite – the super mineral.

When developing the Swiss pine climate box, we also drew upon what nature has to offer and imitated ionisation as a natural purification process. We use zeolite as a natural ioniser of negatively charged air, which is strongly hygroscopic, has ex-tremely high ionic mobility as well as a large surface area and is, therefore, a perfect interceptor of radicals, particulate matter and pollutants. Air is created via an osmotic effect that is benefi-cial to our body.

Optimum humidity ensures a sense of well-being.

A temperature of 20 to 24°C and a relative humidity of 40 to 60% is considered pleasant and is rec-ommended in indoor spaces. These values noticeably improve nightly rest, notably in the bedroom.

Our immune system works best with the ideal air humidity:

Air that is too dry disturbs the respiratory tract’s protective mech-anism. The layer of mucus dries out, becomes tough, obstructs the movement of the cilia, and the most important entry barri-ers become more permeable for viruses and bacteria. Studies show that our immune system can only activate its defence mech-anisms and recovery processes at medium, relative air humidity; otherwise these mechanisms and processes become blocked when the air humidity drops below 20% respectively. 1)

Optimally humidified air reduces virus con-tamination:

Research shows that a relative humidity of between 40% and 60% significantly reduces survival, spread and infection with the influenza and the coronavirus pathogens SARS-CoV-1, MERS, and SARS-CoV-2. At optimum humidity, the surface of the parti-cles changes significantly: a kind of water bubble forms – a mini-eco-system with diverse chemical reactions.

It has been shown that at a humidity level of up to 23%, about 75% of the virus particles are still infectious after one hour, and the proportion of infectious particles is reduced to about one fifth at around 43% humidity! Furthermore, aerosols increase at a faster rate in more humid conditions, fall to the ground earlier, and the air remains much cleaner. 2)3)

It in-fluences our mood, our ability to concentrate and, last but not least, our immune system. We should, therefore, pay particular attention to the quality of this essential provision.

SIGNIFICANT IMPROVE-MENT OF INDOOR AND SLEEPING CONDITIONS:The Swiss pine climate box not only purifies and humidifies the air; it also optimises the indoor climate. The balsams and essential oils stored in the heartwood of the Swiss pine not only have a particularly harmo-nising fragrance, they also ensure inner peace, better sleep and signifi-cantly improved physical and mental resilience. This has been confirmed in scientific studies.

To ensure the hygienic operation of the Swiss pine climate box’s system parts and, at the same time, to minimise the pollutant in the ambient air, we use a new kind of highly efficient disinfectant in addition to the biological active ingredients. Simply explained, this is done by mixing ultrapure water with salt to produce salty water and applying power. The resulting anolyte is a strong oxidising agent which separates oxygen.

This oxygen released oxidises the viruses’ cell wall and other harmful microorganisms. The damaged cell wall can no longer maintain its protective function, for example, against osmotic pressure, and is destroyed. After the oxygen is sep-arated, the substance reverts back

to simple salt.

Incidentally, this active ingredient is also produced in the human body to defend against microor-ganisms in the lysosomes and is an important component in the body’s own immune response as part of phagocytosis, the discov-ery of which earned Ilya Ilyich Metschnikov and Paul Ehrlich the Nobel Prize as early as 1908.
