Known to some as “the odd pair”, Callum & Dave provide a blend of harmonies and acoustic arrangements from a repertoire spanning more than six decades.

Callum’s background in rock and blues, jazz and classical guitar and Dave’s mix of soul, R ‘n‘ B, reggae and hip-hop, means a duo that can deliver any vibe.

Callum Macdonald and David Lena are both students at the Newcastle Conservatorium of Music. Callum has performed around the globe with Gold Coast band Supatune as lead guitarist and backing vocalist, and has received grade-eight honours in the Australian Music Examinations Board’s classical-guitar examination. David Leha, aka Radical Son, is a standout vocalist and Indigenous songwriter.

His often-poignant lyrics chart a course from hopelessness to healing; mercilessly deconstructing what is, and forever imagining what could be.Radical Son can deliver as a soul singer, rapper and spoken-word artist.
