• Study Design: BISR personnel aid in the design of experiments by KUCC investigators to ensure the research questions are testable using existing statistical methodology.• Statistical Analyses: BISR personnel oversee statistical analyses for research projects to ensure: appropriate statistical methodology is used and interpretations of study findings are correct.• Research Informatics & Data Management: KUCC research projects can utilize the clinical information management database system within Velos.• Electronic Data Collection: BISR collaborate with the principal investigator and data entry personnel in determining the information and timing of the data to be captured for the study.• Bioinformatics / Statistical Genomics: BISR provide support for the managing, visualizing, analyzing, and interpreting high-dimensional ' omic data produced from human or model organisms. In addition, the BISR has partnered with the KUMC Kansas INBRE Bioinformatics Core to provide researchers access to Ingenuity Pathway Analysis (IPA) and high-performance computing (HPC) at KU-Lawrence. • IITs and Clinical Trials: The BISR supports data management, study design and statistical analysis of clinical trials conducted by KUCC researchers.
