On 26-27 September 2016 the first BIOTECHMED conference took place in Gelendzhik.

The conference proves to be a high profile forum where the representatives of the medical and biotech industries, members of medtech and IT communities, as well as government authorities can develop complex solutions for the topical problems through direct communication.

Minister of Industry and Trade of the Russian Federation Denis Valentinovich Manturov came up with a proposal to make it a regular event to be held on an annual basis in Gelendzhik.

In 2017, the BIOTECHMED conference aims to maintain a profile of the national platform for the dialogue between business and government and strengthen the emphasis on profound cooperation with the administration of Krasnodar Krai.

The conference aims to raise the attention of the market participants to the synergy of efforts in the transition to medicine of the new technological wave.
