Fashion shows, weddings and finally being ableto finish my lovely campaign. I can’t wait tolaunch it!

Lamya Abedin Queen of Spade Fashion Show at Atlantis Dubai
Lamya as I recall follows a theme to inspire andguide her designs. This season she presented theHanami collection - inspired by the cherryblossom festival of Japan. Plentiful Japanese artforms and techniques have been used tostructure the collection. Fabrics like hand-painted silks, Japanese suede, and chiffons wereused galore.
Lamya always talks about how a unique lookplays an integral part in her abaya style and theessence of turning a particular favorite garmentinto multiple styles. This time I can see it was thetwo-piece loose-fitted trousers paired with awrap-around top, created on the kimono,Portable sleeves and reversible abayas. Like theland of rising sun theme she is our rising star!

The collection, a sophisticated and modernabayas, mostly for cocktail and evening wears,matching clutch bags and a new addition of silkscarves.I adored the simplicity and elegance ofthe set up and the chance to see the entirecollection up close.
