Thank you for your understanding and co-operation with our drop off and pick up procedures this week, it is great to see so many children walking themselves to class in the morning. The morning drop offs are running like clockwork, so we request all children arrive by our regular start time of 8.50am. Our afternoon pick up at Mokoia Road is very smooth and we encourage families to collect children from here as there is ample room and allows for a safe exit from school. If you arrive between 2.45 to 3.00pm feel free to sign in and collect your child/ren from their classroom. We have had a fantastic return from lockdown, all our tamariki have shared many wonderful stories of walks, games and activities they did during their home lockdown. I have visited every class this week and have been very impressed with how everyone has settled back into their learning with ease, this is a real credit to you, our community, for maintaining routines around learning during lockdown. Ange Teague has made the decision to resign from her teaching position at BPS. Ange will be staying within our community taking the role of Assistant Principal of Northcote Intermediate. I would like to thank Ange for her dedication and commitment to BPS over her tenure as a teacher and 13 years as a parent of BPS students. Lastly, I would just like. to remind families about our lost property container that is by the library. The current cool mornings and warm days means we have a number of sweaters and jackets that require reuniting with their owners.
