This Dutch designer set upthe company Moooi in 2001, and is art director there. His projects areamazing owing to the irony and decorative details of his creations. Theobjects Wanders has made, pure expressions of contemporary art, areon exhibit in the world’s most important museums. Nata a Parigi, Andrée Putman è una dei designer più noti a livellointernazionale. Tra le realizzazioni più significative si annoverano ilMorgan’s Hotel a New York, il Centre d’Art Plastique Contemporain diBordeaux, l’arredamento interno del Concorde per Air France, ilPershing Hall Hotel di Parigi, la Blue Spa e la piscina del Bayerischer HofHotel a Monaco di Baviera, la boutique Guerlain a Parigi, molte abitazioniprivate e recentemente anche il grattacielo “The Putman” ad Hong Kong.In qualità di designer, ha creato una linea di gioielli e alcuni pezzid’argenteria per Christofle, una collezione in porcellana per Gaia & Ginoe ha reinterpretato la famosa Steamer Bag di Louis Vuitton. Rientra tra isuoi ultimi interventi anche l’area “Espace Andrée Putman” così nominataper renderle omaggio e situata all’interno dello Stade de France di Parigi./ Born in Paris, Andrée Putman is one of the most internationally renowneddesigners. Some of her most significant projects include Morgan’s Hotelin New York, the Centre d’Art Plastique Contemporain in Bordeaux, thefurnishings for the interior of the Concorde for Air France, the PershingHall Hotel in Paris, the Blue Spa and the swimming pool of theBayerischer Hof Hotel in Munich, the boutique Guerlain in Paris, manyprivate residences and recently also “The Putman” skyscraper in HongKong. Jürgen Mayer è il fondatore e direttore dello studio J. Mayer H.Architects, impegnato nella realizzazione di progetti d’architettura,comunicazione e sperimentazione su materiali innovativi. Ha studiatoalla Stuttgart University, The Cooper Union e alla Princeton University.Le sue opere, pubblicate ed esposte in tutto il mondo, sono entrate a farparte di numerose collezioni, tra cui quella del MoMA di New York e ilSF MoMA. Jürgen Mayer insegna alla Toronto University in Canada. /Jürgen Mayer is the founder and principal of the cross-disciplinaryJ. Mayer H. Architects’ studio, focused on works at the intersectionof architecture, communication and new technology.
