BISHOP THAGANAS:2014 MESSAGE

Over the last year, our supporters have helped to reach 80,000 people in 5 Eastern African Countries

with Church Growth, Compassion, Peace Building/Conflict Resolution, and Leadership Development

Ministries a total of 15 million people since 1991. Thank you for taking an interest and being involved

with GOA over the past years.

Today we have 48.3 million orphans in Africa of which 14.8 million orphaned by HIV live in sub-Saharan

Africa. A population of 417,807,000 people in Africa from 1268 groups is unreached/least Reached with

the Gospel of Jesus Christ. Millions of Africans are living either as Internally displaced persons or on

asylum outside their nation resulting from war, political instability or related causes. In my view

leadership vacuum is, the cause of most of the African crisis. GOA is helping that in need: improving the

quality of life of those at greatest risk especially orphans, increasing the number of people who have a

saving faith in Jesus Christ and are growing in Spiritual maturity. GOA enables families, churches, tribes

and nations to live in peace. GOA helps ministries function with excellence in Spiritual leadership,

governance and management practices which are rooted in scripture principles. Please consider making

a personal donation to GOA at this time.

We rely on our supporters and investors to help us continue to reach the worlds poorest people with

the Gospel, food, home, education, medication, clothing, Peace, excellence in leadership, governance

and management practices. A gift of $100, $250, $500 or even $1000 will help us reach our current goal

of $8,967,328 which is still required to execute on our 2013-2018 plans after GOA Switzerland has

GOA has experienced a decline in foreign funding resulting from Global economic challenges. GOA

budget for 2013 was $1,433,237. 41% of the budget was realized which resulted in some key capital

projects being carried forward.

GOA theme for 2014 is; Empowerment for GOA sustainable Development until maturity and

completeness in Christ. (Ephesians 4:11-13). God has empowered His Church to be sustainable through

the gift of the Holy Spirit, and the Spiritual gifts. We envision the empowerment of GOA families and

ministries to the grassroots leading to sustainability by 2018. GOA 5 year strategic plans have a focus on

income generating projects as a sustainable way of funding the GOA vision in a situation of dwindling

funding. Please help us help ourselves by funding GOA sustainable projects. GOA 5 year plans and
