• Children’s choice award for the state of Maryland.

• Sponsored by MEMO (Maryland Educational Media Organization).

• Scores of titles read, 14 nominated in the picture book category.

• KIDS choose best book, and authors receive the award at the annual luncheon.

What grades are included?

Categories:• Picture Books-Pre K-3• Grades 4-6• Grades 6-9• Grades 9-12

Getting Started

• Books are available in the media center.• Read at least 9 of the 14 picture books.• Inform Carolyn or Theresa when you

complete a book so that we can indicate it on our Black-Eyed Susan Books Graph.
