GM Crop Giant Monsanto Given Immunity From The Law

(Black Hat Biotech part 2)

Some time ago in Black Hat Biotech I reported on the efforts of Monsanto Corp.

aided and abetted by politicians and bureaucrats in the United Nations (United

Nazis?) The European Union and the U S A, to gain control of the global food supply.

Where farmers once could sue Monsanto and other suppliers of Genetically

Modified seeds if natural crops were contaminated by cross pollination from

Monsanto's Frankenstein Foods, in recent years it has been Monsanto that sued

farmers whose crops had been contaminated by the entirely natural pollination

process. Yes Monsanto are nasty pieces of work. Ah but we must not question

Genetic Modification of crops because it is 'science' and to question it is to

blaspheme.

Well I'm not religious, science was ever fascism's whore and it's a good thing

some of us are questioning the crooked deals being cooked up between politicians,

academics and corporate bosses before the workers of the world wake up one

morning and find they have regained their chains. What is happening now is not even

subtle.

Many people might be lulled into complacency by the knowledge that whatever

malfeasance Monsanto and the political cronies might be planning we have the U N

agency The World Health Organisation, the U S Food and Drug Administration

to look after our interests. If only

An old saying warns us there is no rest for the wicked and you can be sure

Monsanto is unrelenting in its efforts to find ways of persuading / coercing these

organisations into disregarding the concerns of health conscious consumers and

independent scientists whose work has raised many concerns about the safety of

genetically modified products for large scale, long term human consumption.

An example of these efforts is contained in a piece of American legislation that

has been dubbed the Monsanto Protection Act, which manages to slide a cleverly

worded clause into the a bill before the US Senate that would give Monsanto

guaranteed immunityfrom any United States Department of Agriculture (USDA)

action regarding the potential dangers of their genetically modified creations while

those genetically modified products are under review. The USDA would be unable to

act against any and all new GMO crops that were suspected to be wreaking havoc on

either human health, non G M crops or in the environment.

Its a legislative weapon that could be signed into law by mid 2013 if opponents

of G M crops and corporate fascism fail to gather enough support to persuade

Senators this section of the bill must be eliminated.

Unsurprisingly to people who are paying attention to the move by a cartel of

powerful banking and industrial corporation to steal our world, this shocking clause

was kept out of the news because of a covert action by lobbyists working for the

Monsanto-fronted biotechnology industry which managed to slide an amendment

clause into the deceptively worded Farmer Assurance Provision, (Sec. 735) the

Senate Continuing Resolution spending bill as it was debated by Senators.

A massive petition to stop what has been labelled as the Monsanto Protection

Act has been launched by Food Democracy Now, detailing what could come if the

legislation is signed into law within the coming days or weeks:

If approved, the Monsanto Protection Act would force the USDA to allow

continued planting of any GMO crop under court review, essentially giving backdoor

approval for any new genetically engineered crops that could be potentially harmful

to human health or the environment.

American society has been polarised and

deeply, possibly irredeemably damaged by the

breakdown of the separation of powers

between different branches of government.

For example, the executive branch (Obama)

has been negotiating in secret with corporate

interests whose campaign donations bought

them influence, and grabbing powers for the

Presidency that rightfully belong to Congress and the Supreme Court without telling

Congress.

The Unelected bureaucrats of the E U are busy doing the same, handing out

trinkets and honours to politicians in return for sovereign powers that belong to

elected parliaments being ceded to Brussels bureaucracies without argument

And life-and-death decisions about who the government labels an enemy

combatant and assassinates are being kept away from the judges altogether.

At the same time, government agencies like the EUFSA and the U S FDA go to

great lengths to cover up the potential health damage from genetically modified

foods, and to keep the consumer in the dark about what theyre really eating.

Remember, genetically engineered foods have been linked to obesity, cancer, liver

failure, infertility and all sorts of other diseases (brief, must-watch videos here and

here).

Things are about to get a lotworse.

The Monsanto Rider (section 735) uses farmer-friendly happy talk, but is an

iron-fisted ploy to allow GMO crops to be planted even if a court has ruled that

planting them is illegal.

capture by the big food companies decades ago approves a genetically modified

food without any testing, a court can grant an injunction halting production of that

food until testing occurs.

The Monsanto Rider would strip the courts of power, and would allow GMOcrops to be planted and put in our food no matter what a judge has ruled.

As the Weston Price Foundation notes:

If a GMO crop approval was shown to violate the law and require further

analysis of its harmful impacts (as several courts have concluded in recent years, for

example with GMO alfalfa and GMO sugar beets) this provision would override any

court-mandated caution and allow continued planting and commercialization while

further review takes place.

Were the new law about to be signed by Obama (and he loves signing new laws

even if he is not too clear what they are about) that will put Coroprate interests

beyond government control and with the E U crumbling under pressure from the

corporate / finanical cartel and talking about thing like forcing European consumers

to eat G M crops they do not want and do not trust because ' it's the only way to feed

the world's poor,; with the United Nations becoming more openly the administrative

branch of the Scientific Dictarorship President Eisenhower warned us about in his

and national establishments.

What harm are a few extra G M products going to do? You might well ask. After

all we have been eating G M Tomatoes and G M Soya products for years.

OK, yeah; ask yourself would you have been eating these things had you been

told the truth about independent research into the safety of G M foods? Stuff like this

for example:

Horizontal Gene Transfer Is Now Proven By Science

The following complications underscore the seriousness of the

dangers

introduced by cultivation of GE crops:

DNA from GE plants is not readily broken down in the soil

and can be taken up by soil particles and microbes. The

accumulation of foreign DNA may lead to a cumulative loss of

soil diversity over repeated harvests.

Unlike the claims of Monsanto when it first approved GM

crops, Bt genes (Bacillus thuringiensis) are not broken down, for

the reasons already stated, so can accumulate in soil and

potentially produce Bt toxins. These toxins may build up in the

soil, further damaging the organisms crucial for soil fertility.

Research from the New York University7 confirms that Bt toxins

are not broken down by soil microbes and do indeed accumulate in

soil; the toxins maintain their ability to kill insects, potentially

creating superbugs that further endanger the ecosystem.

GE DNA is able to merge with the DNA of other organisms to

create new varieties of soil microorganisms that disrupt the

ecological balance. These new organisms, if virulent enough,

could spread widely via wind erosion and ground water to

compromise soil fertility on a broader scale.

A Swiss study8 showed that adult earthworms feeding on

transgenic Bt corn lost 18 percent of their initial weight,

suggesting GE DNA may have long-term toxic effects on

earthworms. Earthworms are major decomposers of dead and

organic matter in the soil and are major contributors to the

recycling of nutrients. An earlier study9 showed that both

earthworms and collembolans (another small soil-dwelling

invertebrate) can be adversely affected by Bt crops.

Its also been shown that glyphosate can be toxic to rhizobia, a

nitrogen-fixing bacterium10

. Nitrogen fixing bacteria are important

because nitrogen is the nutrient most commonly deficient in soil.

GE crops are adversely affecting our soil biology in numerous ways.

There are differences observed in the bacteria occupying plant roots and

changes in nutrient availability. Many studies show glyphosate can have

toxic effects on microorganisms and can stimulate them to germinate

spores and colonize root systems. Glyphosate has also been shown to

immobilize manganese, an essential plant nutrient. Overall, glyphosate

diminishes the health and nutritional value of the plants its sprayed on,

as well as the soil.

The two main types of GE foodsherbicide-tolerant crops and

pesticide-producing cropsare both imprecise technologies riddled with

unintended consequences, including hundreds to thousands of genetic

mutations that have unknown effects on human health. Glyphosate and

GE crops may be leading the human race over a cliff, as Dr. Don Huber

explains in the following interview (linked).

The latest science seems to suggest genetically engineered plant

cultivation may seriously disrupt soil ecology by reducing microbial

diversity, which decreases soil fertility over timepossibly irreversibly.6

As GE plants increasingly take over the major food-producing areas

of the world, including the U.S., China, India, Argentina and Brazil,

reduced soil fertility could lead to famine on a scale never previously

seen. The mechanisms for this are just beginning to be understood, and

what was recently only theory has inched closer to reality as science

shines more light on the consequences of introducing genetically

engineered organisms into the soil.

The mechanism goes something like this

Special genetic elements (vector DNA) are present in all GE plants.

This vector DNA enables unrelated microorganism species to mate, but

can also be transferred to soil microorganisms. Soil fertility depends on

the presence of a diverse blend of microorganisms, all serving different

roles in balancing and optimizing the soil. But when unrelated species

mate, the soil ecosystem loses diversity, which is proven to damage

fertility.

Until recently, the transfer of genes between GE plants and soil

bacteria was only theoretical. However, this mechanism has now been

demonstrated by science, and its our soils worst nightmare. It should be

noted that this same process of gene transfer has been shown to occur in

your gastrointestinal tract when you eat GE foodsturning your

intestines into a virtualpesticide factory.

The Monsanto Protection Act would put Monsanto beyond the read of the U SGovernment and the Federal courts. American consumer protection and law

enforcement agencies would be powerless to regulate the sale and cultivation of non

approved and even illegal and dangerous GMO crops, the biotech industry and

Monsanto (which is effectively the biotech industry would be handed the power to

thumb their noses at the law and any ethical considerations. Monsanto already have

in effect a monopoly position as sole supplier of genetically engineered seed and

would be given incentives to abuse that power.

The same threat was faced in summer 2012 during the initial emergence of this

act. During that time, major groups united against the act, from national farm

institutions to food safety campaigners.The Center for Food Safety, the National

Family Farm Coalition, the American Civil Liberties Union (ACLU), the Sierra Club,

and the Union of Concerned Scientists all came together to speak out against thebombshell clause slipped into the 2012 Farm Bill and the 2013 Agriculture

Appropriations Bill.

Monsanto backed off then but now the black Hat Biotech giant is trying again.

And guess who is actively supporting them this time. None other than Sidi Barack

Husssein Obama, peacemaker, concliiator, friend of the oppressed and New World

Order's houseboy.

Whether Monsanto can be kicked out of the Senate and back onto the dunghills

or organic farmers in the mid west is up to Americans. In the rest of the world we

must stand up and be counted and let it be known that any politician who supports

Black Hat Biotech and the drive to gain control of the food supply will not be staying

in the office for much longer. The standard punishment for corruption in medieval

Europe was to be paraded through the community on a tumbril. As dung is a big deal
