1) The artist I have chosen are Kendrick Lamar 2) He is signed to Top Dawg Entertainment (TDE), which

is an independent record label created by Lamar and his group Black Hippy.

3) His music is recorded in a studio.4) He does not have a management company, but he

does have a general manager. 5) His music is distributed by TDE, as well as

interscope/aftermath records.6) In the UK his music is distributed by Polydor records.

7) He has released an album in physical format (Good Kid, M.A.A.D City), and it is commercially available as it is sold online and even on iTunes.

8) He uses different media such as YouTube and VEVO to release his music videos, he also has a twitter account (@KendrickLamar) and a instagram account (@KendrickLamar), he also has a website for him and his group (http://topdawgmusic.com/) and a Facebook page (https://www.facebook.com/KendrickLamarmusic).

9) His music is available on Spotify, iTunes, on websites that sell CD’s (Amazon, HMV etc.) and his mixtapes are available for free to download.

10) Kendrick Lamar has many social media accounts, these include; Twitter(@KendrickLamar),Instagram (@KendrickLamar), YouTube / VEVO (KendrickLamarVEVO), a Facebook page and a website. These all help him to interact with his audience, and it helps him to get to know what they like and expect from him. Also, because a lot of people can download his albums for free from the internet, it will help him to gain a bigger audience, which will the help him to sell out his concerts and tours quicker.
