A fundamentally new principle for the organisation of senders, receptors and shades provides the unit with an active measurement area of approximately 55 x 55 cm within an external frame dimension under 75 cm (patents applied for).

Shots fired through the measuring frame are captured with an accuracy of approx. 1/10 mm by 768 infrared light barriers.

With uncompromising accuracy, projectiles of all calibres up to max. 24.13 bigbore (including muzzle loaders) are measured optically and without contact throughout the entire measurement area. Simply, this is the first system worldwide with this capability! The minimal outer frame dimensions mean that these measuring frames are predestined to meet all demands, including Olympic Rapid Fire Pistol 25 m ranges.

The unique accuracy of this measuring frame lies in its dense array of LED light barriers. The shadow of the flying bullet is captured by a flawless curtain of segmented triangular light barriers. The work is done by 768 receptive sensors, which are irradiated by 26 intense light senders. The measuring frame features a robust dust- and splash-resistant housing (IP54).

Flexible operating conditions

Inside the measuring frame are robust electronic components with a working temperature range from -5°C to over +45°C. Every measuring frame must pass a final long-term quality control test in a climate cabinet.
