Our History
In September 2013, Black Stag installed its first Flexsteel pipeline with just four people and a couple pieces of equipment. Since that time, Black Stag has grown immensely, providing work for Belle Fourche Pipeline, Caliber Midstream, Loenbro, and 1804 Operating.
Our desire and ability to complete jobs in a timely manner, coupled with the quality our customers have come to expect, have given us an edge in the pipeline industry. Naturally taking us from Flexsteel into other work such as HDPE, Steel, Fabrication, Facility, Lact unit connects, excavation of roads, right of ways, pad extensions, and integrity work.
We bought land and have a strong presence in McKenzie County, ND. We own all the equipment necessary to do all of our own trenching, mulching, ROW work, hydro excavation, boring, and Flexsteel installation. Our ability to complete these tasks ourselves enables us to effectively cut not only our costs but also the cost for our customers.
Despite our humble beginnings, we have become the leading installer of Flex Steel pipe, having put almost a hundred miles in the ground in North Dakota alone. Our certified Flex Steel Technicians have more experience installing Flex Steel than any other company in the industry.

At Black Stag we take the policy that owning is better than renting, which had led us to acquire a large variety of our own supporting equipment such as trailers, pressure washers, hydro testing equipment, saws, swage machines, etc.
