Please read this rider carefully. By signing, PRESENTER agrees to provide all the hospitality and technical requirements described below, as well as adequate production and working conditions essential to performance. Any breach of the terms and conditions of this rider may cause ARTIST to refuse to perform without releasing PRESENTER from his obligation to pay ARTIST. If ARTIST elects to perform notwithstanding a breach of this agreement by PRESENTER, the performance by ARTIST shall not constitute a waiver of any claim ARTIST may have for damages or otherwise.

All catering and hospitality should be confirmed with Black Violin tour manager, Evan LeSure prior to event date.

Any changes to the hospitality requirements should be approved in writing by tour manager, Evan LeSure, prior to event date.

All Technical and production aspects of the performance should be confirmed with Black Violin’s Tour Manager, Evan LeSure.

1. HOSPITALITY REQUIREMENTS

Accommodations: Five (5) King hotel rooms, 4-star quality or better within a 5 Mile radius of venue. Preferred Hotels include: • Rennaissance � • Westin � • Kimpton • W • marriott

Dressing Rooms: • Two (2) star dressing rooms, stage level, one (1) Large Green

Room, and one (1) production office • One (1) Mirror � • Five (5) chairs minimum � • One (1) couch (if possible) � • One (1) large table � • Iron and Ironing board • Working electrical outlets � • Hot & Cold running water � • Clean, private lavatory with triple-ply toilet tissue and soap � • Twelve (12) new white stage towels � • 16 AA Batteries (Duracell Pro-Cell) � • One (1) stereo with CD and Bluetooth • One (1) cooler w/ CLEAN ice � • Condiments, utensils, trashcans, etc. � • One (1) Bottle Cabernet Sauvignon • One (1) pint Tito’s Vodka

• One (1) Pint Jameson Whiskey • Twelve (12) Assorted beers • Six (6) assorted Dole or Tropicana juices (apple, orange, grapefruit,

fruit punch, �etc.) (small cartons) • Six (6) assorted Vitamin Waters. � • Hot coffee • Tea (Assorted packs, must include Green, Peppermint and Throat

Coat) � • Six (6) 450ml Bolthouse Farms smoothies (Vanilla Chai Tea, Mango,

Madness, Berry �Boost, C-Boost) � • Twenty Four (24) bottles water per performance, Preferably Fiji • Honey • 2 whole lemons � • One (1) fresh fruit tray (watermelon, Grapes, Oranges,

Strawberries, mango, �papaya, banana) (small) � • One (1) fresh Deli tray, 1 head of lettuce, tomato tray with whole

wheat and white bread (small) � • Assorted Munchies (candy, chips & chocolate chip & Oreo

cookies), Halls cough drops � • �Meals (Lunch/Dinner) – 5 HOT Meals per performance • In situations where the Presenter has agreed to provide Black Violin

with a meal, the following suggestions would be appreciated by the group: Menu to order from either: Cheese Cake Factory, P.F. Chang’s, Friday’s, Ruby Tuesday, Outback, Applebee’s, or a similar takeout restaurant near the venue. �If dinner is catered we ask if we can please have 2 red meat meals, 2 white meat meals and 1 full vegetarian meal. For sides it’s preferred to have steamed vegetables, white rice and/ or salad. �**Please no pizza or KFC** �Meals for Five(5) people will be required in total. All catering and hospitality should be confirmed with Black Violin tour manager Evan LeSure, prior to event date. �

TRANSPORTATION a) PURCHASER shall provide all local ground transportation as provided for in the contract OR Artist is willing to accept reimbursement to rent 1 full sized vehicle. This removes purchaser from coordinating transportation of Artist to and from venue, hotel and point of connection (airport, etc.) at various times of the day. BILLING

ARTIST shall receive equal or greater headline billing than any other event performers in any and all advertising. For festival performances, the billing shall include a “prime” time performance slot during that time when attendance is expected to be at its peak, the closing slot is not typically the “prime” slot. No other artist or act will be a part of the bill without discussing with the ARTIST’s management before going to contract. PERFORMANCE CONTROL ARTIST shall have exclusive control over the production, presentation, and performance of the engagement hereunder, including, but not limited to, the details, means and methods employed in fulfilling each obligation of ARTIST hereunder in all respects. ARTIST shall have sole right, as ARTIST may see fit, to designate and change at anytime the performing personnel other than this ARTIST specifically named herein. MERCHANDISE ARTIST will be permitted to sell CDs and other merchandise at the venue. PURCHASER agrees to provide ARTIST with a large table, to be strategically located where the majority of the audience congregates during intermission and at the end of the show, and a SELLER at no cost. PURCHASER also agrees to supply a table in view of the merchandise area for a post show meet and greet. COMPLIMENTARY TICKETS PRESENTER agrees to have twenty five (25) complimentary tickets for each performance in a prime seating location for ARTIST’S use. Artist will release any unused tickets on the date of the performance.

2.TECHNICAL REQUIREMENTS

A. SOUND SYSTEM REQUIREMENTS:

FRONT OF HOUSE SYSEM TO INCLUDE:

FOH Speakers: 4-way active, crossed-over line array speaker system capable of producing an undistorted 110 dbA SPL at any seat in the house, plus any applicable fills in order to cover all seating areas.

FOH Mixing Console: 48 Channel, professional console

Preferred brands: AVID, Yamaha CL, Midas PRO, Soundcraft Vi In Case of Analog: Midas XL or Heritage, Soundcraft Series 5, etc, and the following outboard gear: � • Klark Teknik 1/3 Octave Equalizers • Two (2) Digital Reverb Units (Lexicon PCM 91, Yamaha SPX 2000) � • One (1) Digital Delay Unit (PCM 42, TC 2290/D2, etc.) � • Ten (10) channels compression (dbx 160A) � • Four (4) channels gating (Drawmer DS201) � • Talkback to stage and communication between house & monitors

Monitor System (IEMS). This system will be patched in the existing Stage Box or Audio Splitter (provided by the sound Co.) �

• Sound Company will provide : � • 4 channels Shure UHF-R Handheld wireless w/ KSM9 capsules • 32 Channel Audio Splitter or Stage Box • Two (2) Three-Way Side fill Monitor Stacks • One (1) 15” Powered Sub (Next to Drummer) � • One (1) Clearcom with 4 headsets and at least 2 channels (clear

communication between FOH, Stage, LD, and House Manager)� • Enough microphones and DIs to cover all inputs on the input list,

with spares. Microphones must be of professional quality. • Enough XLR, ¼ inch, and assorted cables and adaptors to patch

all inputs, outputs, and instruments on stage. • Enough microphone stands of assorted types to mic all instruments,

plus spares. Please make sure to provide 2 round base straight stands. Sufficient snakes, cables and mic stands must be provided to patch the above equipment. These are Black Violin’s requirements only –

support acts must have additional mics and cables made available so that Black Violin equipment & consoles stay set up during any/all

support act show. Inputs will not be shared.

Presenter agrees to provide Stage Accessories: Risers: 8X8 by 2 risers w/ 8X12 piece of black duvatine for dressing. RISER MUST BE SOLID AND FREE FROM VIBRATION TO PREVENT RECORDS FROM SKIPPING.

Yamaha MOTIF XF8 Single tier, double braced keyboard stand C. LIGHTING We will require two (2) follow spots and follow spot operators for this performance. Lighting system must be able to cover all area of the stage, and must consist of enough fixtures to wash multiple and changing colors across all performance areas. We will need enough Lekos to cover 8 specials on stage. Black Violin will also be bringing a glass gobo. (Standard Leko size) Please also provide one (1) DF50 stage hazer.
