Behaviorism
• Use of tutorials for practice in math and language classes to give students immediate feedback & they can then try to solve the problems again.
• Use of spreadsheets with student assessment data gives students feedback and they can then change their behavior
• Make podcasts or videos of skits, singing, or dancing and upload to youtube and express yourself your way.
• Use of "clickers" where students can answer in on their own clicker and see the results on the class graphs.
• Use of Promethian/Smart Boards where students can use dual-user pens to interact on problems and do vocabulary matching games.
Cognitivism • Interactive assignments using google docs to
share presentations and writing assignments for students to be editors as well as managers of the documents. Classmates & teacher can both fully interact via the share system on google docs.
• Reward the learning process, rather than the final end product of the presentation/powerpoint
• Use of wiki for students to put their work for quick response by the teacher. The wiki can also work as a place for the students to reflect on their learning.
• Students can also develop their own wiki and then share it with their classmates.
• Use of Promethian/Smart Boards to allow students to interact with the lesson
