Hi there! I’m Kristen Curran, designer,photographer and illustrator of this inspirational health guide. This is a second year assignment where I combined my interests of digital publishing, brand establishment, eco friendly /organic design and awareness to healthy eating and well being.

Tips Check listFreeze your fruit for a more fresh chilled outcome

Add ice in last, overblending ice leads to a watery smoothie rather than frosty & icy.

Make coconut cubes from coconut water. This willadd nutrients including pottasium,magnesuim & other electrolytes.

Procedure: Add liquid - frozen fruit - powders/add ins - fresh fruit - ice

Always use fresh fruit even if its frozen

Probiotic boost- Add in your favourite soy yogurt for a nice smooth flavour & added nutrients. Usenatural unsweetened yogurt for a healthier option.

Change up the liquids. Opt for a lighter dairy freeoption by adding in either Almond or Coconut milk.

Drink the blend as soon as possible as it starts to lose its nutritional value after time passes.

Use organic food if possible as has more nutrients & flavour.

While Beauty is very much in the eye of the beholder, there are several traits that

seem to be generally acknowledged as appealing.

Those looking for a glowing appearance should avoid smoking, refined sugar and processed

foods.

Smoking causes premature aging and wrinkles. Cigarette smoke also yellows the teeth and

may reduce the body’s overall nutrient absorption.

Refined sugars cause inflammation in the body, which may result in acne and gum

disease.

Highly Processed foods also cause inflammation, and attack the enzymes that skin, hair and nail cells need for growth.

Our bodies take in a huge amount of toxins each day. From bus fumes to alcohol,

cigarette smoke to processed food, substances containing free radicals and

other destructive compounds. Fortunately, there are plenty of foods and

natural remedies known to both repair damaged cells and eliminate toxic particles

from the body.

The liver filters the blood and collects dead cells, damaging chemicals, and harmful
