All the instruction you need to make the units required for this block came with your Tucker Trimmer®, Wing Clipper®, and Geese on the Edge technique sheet. There are charts, step-by-step graphics, and directions. Use the charts to find the information you need for the finished size of the units you want to make, follow it through to find what you need to cut to make those units. Then work your way through the instructions. There are many possibilities to explore with the Geese on the Edge Technique, try them out to make your own unique block.

This is a nice easy combination of Hourglass units and the new technique Geese on the Edge. The neat part of this block is that as you make the bigger blocks you add more geese to your block. You will want to pay attention to the color and value of your fabric this month. If you don’t have a good value difference between your geese fabric and hourglass fabric you will have a mushy block, where it is difficult to tell the difference between the geese and star points. Also when you press your block consider pressing toward the Geese on the edge units as they offer the path of least resistance.
