▪ The CBBC has realized that there is a need to educate and train stakeholders and the marketplace in Sub-Saharan Africa, to enable a significant uptake of the underlying blockchain technologies.

▪ The founders of the CBBC are Cameroonians and were among the founding fathers of Blockchain technology nine years ago. They have been actively involved in developing various blockchain designs globally as well as laying down the foundations for blockchain technology over the last five years across the African continent.

▪ In May, 2018 Fintech Ltd. and Cowrie Integrated Systems Ltd. launch the Naira Token (NGNT) on the Interstellar Decentralized Wallet and Exchange. This service is currently integrated with the Nigeria Inter-Bank Settlement System (NIBSS) and enables instant, secure end to end Naira to crypto conversion, trade and transfers globally on the blockchain. Global secure Naira interbank transfers are now possible in seconds and not days.

▪ In April, 2018, Fintech Ltd. develops a secure blockchain solution to help streamline the basic income delivery process for GiveDirect.io, a non profit that is building the best blockchain direct donation platform to end global extreme poverty.

▪ In March 2018, Fintech Ltd’s Interstellar app helps the Diruna community of almost one million traders and merchants in Indonesia to distribute and store their DRA community token securely.
