Term 3 Holidays Its less than three weeks to the term 3 holidays. The children and staff have excelled, worked hard and enjoyed themselves throughout the term and its impossible to be anything but very proud of all of them. We dismiss on the last day of the term at 2.30pm on Friday 22 nd September and resume for term 4 on Monday 9 th October. We all love our dogs but sometimes they are a little overwhelmed by all the action at those times of the day. Please do not park in the NO PARKING zones at the entrance to Moomba Avenue. No parking in those two sites allows for greater vision for drivers at drop off and pick up times so that children and community members using that corner are safer. Please dont park across the driveways of our neighbors when dropping off or picking up your children. Department of Education Schools are reviewed approximately every four years in a cyclic manner. The review is conducted by a panel that examines areas of a schools operation in the context of The Education State , how we cater for the kids and how we work together to establish and implement the very best whole school education plan. I am very pleased to report that the two review days went extremely well with input from children, staff and parents considered by the panel. We await the report from the Reviewer and I assure you all that our focus on the optimism and engagement of our kids along with continuous school improvement will remain. We are currently organising a scope of works and seeking quotes for some refurbishment to our toilet blocks. Ill let you know about the progress as information regarding the works is finalised. We have recently had the toilets deep cleanedand are continuing to work hard to do the best we can for the kids. Our new lunch order provider (trial) began this week.
