Too often corporate blogs suffer from a last minute approach. You know the thing, "We're having this event/promotion/campaign/outreach/roundtable/webinar/ idea...Do you mind just writing a blog post?" Let's reframe the question from the start: blog posts shouldn't be an afterthought but one of the many tactics we use to engage our target audience. And as part of bigger strategy, we can reuse, repurpose, redesign, refine, refute, rewrite, reimagine, revisit... our content. Everything supports everything.
