I was in charge of my own research projects and discovered two novel DNA mutations within the population. Teaching Experience Village Education Project, Otavalo, Ecuador Summer 2008 Volunteered with a non-profit organization teaching Mathematics in Spanish to middle school Ecuadorian students living in the Andes. Students who show promise during the summer are given a scholarship to attend high school. Masterman High School, Philadelphia, PA January 20011- Present Biology student teacher at the middle and high school level. Designed innovative lesson plans and laboratory curriculum for 3 classes. Extra Curricular Activities Men’s Varsity Soccer, Swarthmore College, Swarthmore PA 2007-2010 Member of the Swarthmore College Men’s Varsity team.
